‘The Bachelor’: Is Alayah Real or Fake? Fans Are Torn Over Whether to Believe Her

How did Alayah get called out as being fake on ‘The Bachelor’?
This week on The Bachelor, Demi Burnett plans the group date. She wakes all of the girls up with huge pillows and a megaphone. The former Bachelor in Paradise star gives each contestant lingerie and various nighttime wear for the date. Some of it is hideous. Then she takes them to meet Peter.
When they arrive, the ladies must pillow fight each other until one winner is left standing. They go at it in Demi’s Extreme Pillow Fight Club until Burnett announces that Alayah is the winner.
While on the date, Sydney calls out Alayah as being fake right to her face. Then she goes behind Alayah’s back and tells Weber that some of the women are not there for the right reasons. He is visibly upset and asks her to tell him who she is talking about. Sydney does not hesitate to call out Alayah in front of everyone.
“That freaks me out so much that I could end up developing feelings for someone that is not being genuine with me,” Weber told Sydney.
Throughout the remainder of the episode, Weber spends his time trying to figure out if Alayah is telling him the truth or not. He questions various other girls who all throw her under the bus. He’s incredibly upset over the entire drama and ends up sending Alayah home.
Our favorite pilot is still upset after the rose ceremony. Then during the scenes from week 4, fans find out that Alayah returns.
On one side, fans feel that Alayah is lying and fake
“Me at the beginning of the episode: Who the heck is Alayah??” wrote one Bachelor fan on Twitter. “Me at the end of the episode: ALAYAH MUST GO HOME.”
Some fans are very bothered by the way 24-year-old Miss Texas talks in front of the camera. They find that she changes her personality when Weber is around and while the film is rolling.
“Her voice goes up 5 octaves when the cameras come on,” tweeted another viewer.
Many fans also believe that Alayah is only on the show to promote herself and gain more Instagram followers.
“Now I won’t get my sugar bear hair partnership,” one Twitter user tweeted, indicating that this is probably what Alayah is saying now that she did not get a rose.
Other fans responded that she would probably score the partnership despite being sent home. If she was there for the publicity, she did get plenty of it with tonight’s episode.
Some ‘Bachelor’ fans are appalled that the other women threw Alayah under the bus
“This episode is making me so mad!” wrote one Instagram user to Alayah. “I am so sorry they teamed up on you!”
Alayah supporters feel that the other women are trying to remove their competition.
“He jumped to conclusions!” another Instagram user pointed out about Weber. “Obviously, the other girls don’t like her because she’s the competition!”
Numerous fans were quick to defend Alayah and apologize for how the other contestants treated her on the show.
“I’m so sorry you got ganged up on,” added another fan. “Sydney is clearly very immature; if she had an issue with you, she should’ve had a mature conversation with you, instead of interrogating you.”
It looks like fans are torn on this one. Some believe that Alayah is fake and should not come back. However, others think that it was not right for the other women to talk about her negatively to Weber. We’ll find out if she is going to stick around on the next episode of The Bachelor, Jan. 27, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
