Former bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe took to Instagram in honor of Peter Weber’s Bachelor season premiere to wish him luck and reflect on her time with the franchise. In her lengthy post, she mentioned she has “bitter” feelings about someone in Bachelor Nation.

“I always question watching every season due to a little PTSD, overwhelming emotions, and knowing a little too much. But I just always want to support the people going through this “journey”. So while I have bitter feelings towards one person (not a contestant), out of hundreds, I will choose to love the hundreds of others who changed my life. I will try to remember the positive experiences. Let’s please all try really hard to not hate, or bully contestants this year,” she wrote.

Bristowe continued: “Try to remind yourself they are humans, not characters. Words hurt and you never know how you would be in these kinds of situations. A little chirping and teasing is fun, questioning people’s behavior is fine. Hate is not. Xoxoxo”

Kaitlyn Bristowe isn’t ‘bitter’ about her relationship with Shawn Booth

Some fans believed Bristowe was referring to her season winner and ex, Shawn Booth. But on January 17, she told Us Weekly that Booth isn’t who she has bitter feelings towards.

“Let’s be honest, everyone is going to immediately think, ‘Oh, she’s talking about her ex,’ but no. I could be petty, but not that petty,” she said. “I would just say it if that’s who I was talking about. It’s someone who I would just rather not say the name anymore and just move forward, because there’s so many people I love in that franchise.”

So now Bachelor fans are pretty sure Bristowe is talking about the show’s creator, Mike Fleiss.

When Bristowe was on Talkhouse in October of last year, the former bachelorette said the creator and producer blocked her from competing on Dancing With The Stars.

“They won’t let me [go on the show], ever,” she said. 

“I’ll tell you exactly why I can’t go on Dancing With The Stars. Anybody that listens to this podcast knows why I cannot go on Dancing With The Stars. And it’s because, and I will say this with a mic in my hand and a smile on face, that Mike Fleiss is a piece of sh*t. He is the creator of The Bachelor, and he hates women,” Bristowe continued.

On February 27, 2017, Bristowe explained to a fan why she wouldn’t be appearing on DWTS.

“Actually I was offered it, had the contract & Mike Fliess told me I wasn’t allowed.He said he didnt want people wanting fame after his show,” she tweeted.

“@kaitlynbristowe has my total support if she wants to appear on DWTS!!! #TheBachelor,” Fleiss tweeted the next day.

“Thanks I’ll get right on that opportunity 2 yrs ago. I wonder what changed your mind?” she responded.

As Bachelor Nation knows, Hannah Brown competed in (and won) the most recent season of DWTS. But Bristowe’s suggested Brown was able to participate because she’d previously aired her grievances.
