‘The Bachelor’: Kelley Flanagan Is Reportedly Only Hanging Out With Peter Weber Again Because He’s Acting Different Than How He Was on the Show
Peter Weber ended his Bachelor season engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss. But at the end of “After The Final Rose,” he was sitting next to Madison Prewett with the intention of seeing if they could make a relationship work. Only a few days after the finale aired, they announced that they would not be pursuing a relationship together. Weber said they’d proved his mother right.
Not too long after that, Weber was spotted out with Kelley Flanagan, who placed fifth on his season.
Weber told former bachelor Nick Viall on The Viall Files that he’d sent her home because they didn’t have a solid connection at that point in the show. Weber told the former bachelor that Flanagan wasn’t good for The Bachelor, that she was “too smart.”
Now, though, Weber and Flanagan don’t have the pressures of the show to affect their relationship.
Peter Weber is more ‘laid-back’ now that he’s not the bachelor, according to a source
A source told US Weekly that Weber’s chilled out a lot since the end of his season.
“The girls from Peter’s season are seeing a completely different side of Peter now from who they knew on the show,” they told the publication. “He’s much more laid-back, relaxed and chill. On the show, he was guarded and seemed to be putting on a front.”
The source says Weber’s new attitude is the reason Flanagan’s spending time with him again. They got along so well when they first met at the hotel but then didn’t mesh when filming the show.
“During the show, Kelley noticed Peter was different from what she had remembered when they first met in real life,” they said. “Now he’s back to the person she first knew and that’s why she is hanging out with him again.”

Weber and Flanagan have been spending time together (along with Dustin Kendrick from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette) since before stay-at-home orders were put into place.
Weber told Viall that he’d gotten Flanagan’s phone number after running into her when he was out with friends in Los Angeles. They started texting and Flanagan opened up to him about some “family” stuff she had going on. So he flew to Chicago to “take her mind off” things.
Shortly after, “everything started to hit with the quarantine stuff.” Weber says when those pictures came out of him and Flanagan out walking, he’d already been there “for quite a while.”
Weber says he and Flanagan aren’t officially dating. He says he has some healing and reflecting to do after everything that transpired on The Bachelor. But he definitely feels like he and Flanagan have potential.
“It kind of became a thing where we’ve always gotten along really well and just had really good chemistry and we just enjoy each other’s company,” he said.
