‘The Bachelor’: Did Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr. Secretly Break Up?
Bachelor and Bachelorette couples break up all of the time. Even the ones who get married aren’t necessarily in it for the long haul. Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr. met on The Bachelor and now have one child together and are expecting another. But have they broken up before their second baby is even born?

Burnham and Luyendyk met when he was the season 22 Bachelor. Despite being married now, Burnham actually did not win the season. Luyendyk gave his final rose to Becca Kufrin. But after the two got engaged, Luyendyk started having regrets and could not stop thinking about Burnham. During one of their weekends together, Luyendyk broke up with Kufrin and then later proposed to Burnham
“I’ve made some bad decisions but the best decision was running back to you,” Luyendyk said to Burnham on the “After the Final Rose” special. “I can’t imagine a life without you. … I truly believe you are my soulmate.”
“I’m ready to face this life with you and all that comes with it,” he continued. “The good, and the bad. I love you so much.”
The pair were later married in January of 2019 at Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii with Bachelor host Chris Harrison officiating.
Did Lauren and Arie break up?
Outlets are always reporting rumors about couples breaking up. This time, TMZ actually reached out to Burnham to ask if she and Luyendyk had broken up. Burnham shared the email on her Instagram story.
“We are hearing her and Arie have separated,” the email read. “Hoping that’s not true! But wanted to reach out for a statement just in case.”

“I meannnnn if you count the 3 hours we separated for him to go dirt biking last weekend,” she wrote. “yeah we’ve ‘separated.’😂”

Not only are Burnham and Luyendyk still together but they seem pretty happy. Luyendyk recently penned a long, loving letter to Burnham as they celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
“Today is our 2 year anniversary!” he captioned an Instagram picture of them in their wedding attire. “I joked last week that I feel we have been together longer but that’s a good thing right? I love our little family. Coffee in the morning before Alessi wakes up, walks around our backyard, planning dates at our house because of this wild year we have had.
“This year has pulled so many people apart but I only feel more connected and more in love with you,” he continued. “It’s funny if you think of where we were at a year ago, finally figuring out how to be new parents. Now a year later we have it all figured out (seemingly) but at the same time have no idea what’s coming haha. I love that we always tackle things head on and come out stronger for it, I can’t wait for what this next year holds for us. I’m so grateful we found each other and even more grateful to share in this incredible life we are creating together.”
So, it seems like things are going just fine for Burnham and Luyendyk.
