Every season of The Bachelor has a few feuds between the ladies. However, this season feels particularly focused on drama instead of Weber making connections with the ladies.

One of the arguments was Alayah Benavidez being accused of being fake. It later came out that she asked Victoria Paul to not tell producers they knew each other before the show in fear that they wouldn’t get cast this season. He sent her home only to let her back when she returned.

A fight also broke out between Tammy Ly and multiple other women. There was a lot of time spent with them talking to Weber about it and him possibly picking a side.

Weber said he gives himself grace for being indecisive

The pilot has been called out by fans and contestants for being indecisive. He talked about that with Entertainment Tonight.

“I can understand being indecisive, because dating 30 women is not easy and that will never be easy and no one is prepared for that,” Weber said. “So, I totally give myself grace for being indecisive in a moment that’s so confusing and so tough and it’s kind of rushed. You have deadlines, you have to let go of people, and that I’m OK with.”

He said sometimes not having all the information is what led to him being stuck. “I’m not gonna say I feel like it was hidden from me, but I will fully accept and own that, yeah, there were a lot of moments where I was indecisive,” he said. “But again, I give myself all the grace in the world ’cause it’s a tough situation to be in.”

He said they didn’t get to know each other because of the drama

Weber is having a lot of conversations with the ladies about their drama. He admitted this was a problem for him.

“A lot of times it was the women bringing things up, and that would be how the conversation would start,” he told People. “That was tough for me. I didn’t really want to spend my time talking about other women with who I was with at that point. But it occurred multiple times throughout this season, and I kind of had no choice but to give in and get to the bottom of what they were concerned about.”

Ultimately this got in the way of them making connections. “We weren’t truly getting to know each other as well as we could have,” he said. “I do wish that the conversations wouldn’t have been so focused on each other.”

This season’s ending is reportedly not able to be spoiled. Fans will have to wait and see what Weber decides to do in the end.
