‘The Bachelor’: Did Peter Weber Block Kelley Flanagan on Instagram?
When a couple breaks up, it’s pretty common for the two exes to unfollow each other on social media to avoid seeing one another on their feeds. But after The Bachelor‘s Peter Weber announced his breakup with Kelley Flanagan on Dec. 31, 2020, fans think he took to Instagram to block his ex-girlfriend instead of simply unfollowing her. Read on to see more about the fan theory regarding the couple’s social media status.
Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan’s breakup
Weber announced on his Instagram on Dec. 31, 2020 that he and Flangan broke up, a week after he commented on her Christmas picture, “Best Christmas present I ever did get,” referencing having her in his life.
His breakup post showed a picture of the two of them overlooking a beautiful scenic view.
“I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Weber started his caption. “While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end.”
Weber then talked about his appreciation for Flanagan and what their relationship meant to him.
“Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for,” he continued. “Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on.”
Fans later noticed that Flanagan’s tags disappeared from Weber’s pictures on Instagram and vice-versa.
Fans know that Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan unfollowed each other
Fans on Reddit noticed on Jan. 24 that the two exes were no longer following each other on Instagram.
“I feel like unfollowing for at least awhile after a breakup, even if on good terms, is a healthy choice,” one user wrote in the thread.
Another joked: “Pilot Petty,” referencing Weber’s career as an airline pilot.
But did Peter Weber block Kelley Flanagan?
But another Reddit user took the unfollowing theory further after noticing a picture in which Weber formerly was tagged in that his tag was no longer visible. The user concluded this means that he might have blocked her, instead.
The user shared a picture of Flanagan and Weber on August 28, 2020 from her account of the former couple on vacation at Nemacolin, the resort Matt James’ season of The Bachelor was filmed at.
However, after the user posted the thread, Weber’s tag reappeared on the picture that Flanagan posted, and her tags in his photos reappeared as well.
So if Weber did block Flanagan on Instagram, it appears that he unblocked her afterward. Their tags wouldn’t appear on each others’ Instagram profiles if they still had each other blocked. Currently, Weber is not blocking Flanagan on Instagram.
