‘The Bachelor’: Peter Weber Is Moving To New York City Without Kelley Flanagan
Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan began a relationship following Weber’s season of The Bachelor in 2020. The two frequently posted about their travels and announced that they planned to move to New York City together.
On Dec. 31, 2020, Weber revealed that he and Flanagan broke up, and Flanagan released her own statement about the breakup on Jan. 3, 2021. Despite their breakup, Weber posted on his Instagram story that he was still moving to New York City without Flanagan.

On The Bachelor, Weber sent Flanagan home midway through the season. In the season finale, he proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss. Before the finale aired, Sluss and Weber ended their engagement and Weber reconnected with his runner-up Madison Prewett.
Prewett and Weber elected not to pursue a relationship, and Weber began dating Flanagan. In July 2020, the couple sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight. In the interview, Weber revealed the two planned to move to New York City together.
“We do want to move in with each other,” Weber said. “Hopefully, New York City… We’d love to live in New York City.”
He added, “I’m super excited to take this next step with Kell and move to New York and to see what adventures await.”

On Dec. 31, 2020, Weber published a lengthy Instagram post announcing that he and Flanagan ended their relationship.
“I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways. While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end,” he wrote on Instagram.
Weber ended the caption of his post with, “Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for… These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together. Thank you Kelley.”
Flanagan did not immediately comment on the breakup, and she published her own statement on Jan. 3, 2021.
“It saddens me to say this but Peter and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Flanagan wrote on Instagram. “Peter and I had some unbelievable times together and they will definitely be missed. Unfortunately him and I are in two different stages of our lives and saw our future paths differently.”
Peter Weber is still moving to New York City
On Jan. 7, 2021, Weber posted a video on his Instagram story. In the video, Weber announced it was the day of his planned move to New York City and showed packed boxes.
“It’s officially moving day!” Weber said. “Got all this stuff packed up right here ready to go. New York, we coming!”
After Weber posted about moving to New York City, fans of The Bachelor discussed the move on social media.
“Feel bad for Kelley as it seems like he got cold feet at the last minute and she moved out of her Chicago apartment and everything. Prior to the breakup, the way Peter described his goal of moving to NYC made it sound like he wanted to act more like a single guy there,” a Reddit user wrote.
“Not only has he broken her heart, but completely humiliated her. She packed up her entire life for him just a few weeks ago. She was excitedly posting stories about how to decorate their new place. He’s so cringe,” a fan wrote on Reddit.
