‘The Bachelor’ Source Claims Peter Weber and Madison Prewett ‘Were Never Really Back Together’

Peter Weber and Madison Prewett had an unclear ending on ‘The Bachelor’
After the Final Rose showed the former couple talking about their relationship. They said they still have feelings for each other.
“I love Peter and that hasn’t changed since that day in Australia,” Madison said. She later added, “I think we were both kind of hoping that after that day in Australia that we would be able to have closure and move on. But I think those feelings never went away.”
Chris Harrison asked how they will move forward. “Listen, I just think it’s important to say now obviously we talked a little since. We haven’t seen each other, but we’ve been able to talk,” Weber said. “We’ve both been really hurt, extremely hurt and been through the ringer with all this. And I know there’s a lot of healing that both of us have to do. But I know the love and respect that I have for you and that will never change.” The pilot said they will take things one day at a time.
They later announced they aren’t pursuing a relationship
They announced their breakup soon after the episode. Weber wrote in an Instagram post, “Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further. Believe me this was not easy for either of us to be ok with, but after a lot of honest conversations, we have agreed that this is what makes most sense for the two of us. The love and respect I have for Madi will continue to endure.”
He also addressed Hannah Ann Sluss in the post. Weber wrote, “Hannah Ann, you set an example for women everywhere a couple nights ago. You are such a strong, confident woman and you deserve all the love in the world. I accept full responsibility for my mistakes in our relationship and wish you only the best.”
A source claims they were never really back together
It was noticed by some fans that the former couple didn’t look close at all during After the Final Rose. They were also vague about their future together. There might be a reason for that.
“Peter is single,” a source told People. “He’s taking some time to figure out what he wants to do next.” The reality star has reportedly been single for some time. The insider claimed “they were never really back together” and “they just realized they couldn’t make it work.”
The source claims to know how Madison felt about the situation. “Madison is very saddened by everything that’s transpired,” a source close to the runner-up said. “She cares for Peter and wanted to work through their challenges. But it just got too difficult and seemed like everything was against them.”
What about her clash with his mother? The source claims she “feels badly if she ever unintentionally hurt the Weber family. Madi is trying to stay positive.”
Madison was seen hanging out with Selena Gomez after the show. Weber seems to be back to his life in California.
