‘The Bachelorette’ 2022: Rumors Suggest ‘Normal’ Scheduling Is Off
Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor proved to be one of the wildest fans had ever seen. Now, both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia are taking over as The Bachelorette 2022 leads — though fans still have yet to see how that will work for them. So when does The Bachelorette begin filming? Rumors currently suggest the typical schedule might be thrown off.
‘The Bachelorette’ 2022 spoilers from Reality Steve state filming begins in mid-March 2022
Reality Steve’s spoilers for The Bachelorette 2022 currently revolve around filming. During the “After the Final Rose” episode of Clayton Echard’s season, host Jesse Palmer announced Gabby and Rachel as the next leads. And it seems production still has kinks to work out. The Bachelorette has never gone for an entire season with two leads. But it seems that Gabby and Rachel won’t have to fight for the same men as they go through the process.
“When you’re 20 years and 46 seasons into a franchise, sometimes you gotta change things up,” Reality Steve tweeted on March 15, 2022. “This made sense after what we watched tonight. Sure it’ll be different and we don’t know exactly how the dates will go yet, but that’s what will keep people intrigued. I’m all for it.”
Reality Steve also tweeted about filming. “(BACHELORETTE FILMING UPDATE): Filming begins Wednesday night at the mansion,” he posted on March 20, 2022. “I think the potential guys on their season will be released tomorrow on The Bachelorette FB page.”
Rumors now suggest normal scheduling for the show might be off
Given Reality Steve’s rumors, The Bachelorette 2022 should begin filming on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. But he also suggested fans should see The Bachelorette 2022 cast posted by now. As of midday March 22, 2022, ABC has yet to release the list of men. This is causing a number of fans to question whether scheduling is running as normal.
“Someone in the spoiler thread said filming might start next week so maybe there will be a delay,” a Reddit fan posted on March 22.
Another Reddit user wrote: “[D]o we know why the premiere is in July if filming starts this early? I assumed it was because filming was delayed but clearly that’s not the case.”
“I feel like there are tons of rumors swirling around,” another person wrote. “A lot of their ‘normal’ filming schedules are being thrown by some potential changes.”
They continued: “Normally, Bachelor in Paradise films in June for about 3.5 weeks, and then normally, The Bachelorette starts airing end of May/beginning of June. Then, normally, Bachelor in Paradise would start airing in August immediately the week after The Bachelorette finale. But that might not happen now. … For Bachelorette filming, they might be giving a buffer of more time because of this new format and they are not sure what to expect. Other rumors about the physical filming are that they are using a cruise ship (in Europe/Mediterranean).”
Will ‘The Bachelorette’ 2022 scheduling cause ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ to get canceled?
With The Bachelorette 2022 premiere date set for Monday, July 11, what does that mean for Bachelor in Paradise? Is Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 canceled?
Rumors continue to circulate that ABC might forego the beloved spinoff. But producer Mike Fleiss reportedly reassured fans on Twitter that BIP will return in all its glory. In a now-deleted tweet captured by Reddit, Fleiss responded to the rumors with, “Canceled??? No f***ing way!!! #BachelorinParadise forever.”
Fans will have to wait and see what happens with The Bachelorette 2022 filming and Bachelor in Paradise Season 8.
