The Bachelorette is coming to a close. After last week’s shocking turn of events, Katie Thurston is left with only Blake Moynes and Justin Glaze. Despite this, there are several fans who are holding out hope that frontrunner Greg Grippo will change his mind and return to the competition. But former contestant Andrew Spencer might have just released a big Bachelorrette spoiler that proves otherwise.

What ‘The Bachelorette’ spoiler did Andrew release?

[Warning: This article contains potential spoilers for the season finale of The Bachelorette]

Though Spencer went home a few weeks ago, it stands to reason that he most likely knows who wins the season. So, when he chose Grippo as one of his picks to be the next Bachelor, it was pretty clear that this was a Bachelorette spoiler and Grippo did not snag the final rose.

“[Michael Allio and Greg Grippo are] both really great guys. Michael A., I mean, if he didn’t make you cry, something’s wrong with your tear ducts,” Spencer told Us Weekly when asked who should be the lead. “He’s just such a genuine guy. One of the things that he said that I love most is that he knows how to love, and he’s been through a marriage. He’s been through death. He’s been through children, childbirth, like, that’s a guy who really understands and gets it. And Greg — first of all, it’s been the Gregerlorette so far. [We’ve] been watching him and just watching his, you know, his story. He looks like Ryan Gosling. He’s a freaking gorgeous man with a great personality. He’s my best friend. Both of those guys have my vote.”

Further revealing that Grippo probably doesn’t come back to woo Thurston, Tre Cooper also threw Grippo’s name out as a Bachelor potential.

“Greg is just one of those guys that you can’t have a bad thing to say about him,” Cooper said of Grippo being the next Bachelor. “I love him deeply and I want him to find his person. And so I think that he will be great for the show.”

Why did Greg Grippo leave ‘The Bachelorette’?

Fans were shocked to see how Grippo’s hometown date played out. Grippo had been doing so well the entire season, only to blow it all up at the last moment. Things started going south when Grippo told Thurston that he loved her and she replied that she liked looking at him. Grippo took this as rejection.

“I just don’t understand how you don’t know at this point. I really don’t,” he said.

The next day, he visited Thurston to tell her he was leaving the competition. She basically begged him to stay, reassuring him that he had always been her number 1 choice, but he decided to leave anyway.

Will Greg Grippo return for the ‘After the Final Rose’

Even with this Bachelorette spoiler, how things end this season is still up in the air. According to The Bachelorette press release, fans will at least see Grippo again at the After the Final Rose.

“Later in ‘After the Final Rose,’ Kaitlyn and Tayshia are joined onstage by Katie and her final three as they try to make sense of what happened in New Mexico, including a tense confrontation with Greg about his sudden departure,” the summary reads.
