‘The Bachelorette’: Contestant Concerns Katie Thurston After Arriving in Trailer to Premiere
Fans of The Bachelorette can’t wait to see what Katie Thurston’s season is like. Thurston got her start on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, and she won over hearts with her candid demeanor. Now, it’s her turn to find love — and it looks like one of her contestants is hopeful she’ll love his trailer way of living. Here’s how he rolled up to the premiere and what she had to say about it.
Who are ‘The Bachelorette’ contestants on Katie Thurston’s season?
While Thurston didn’t have much luck on The Bachelor, she’s certainly hoping one of the many men vying for her love could be her one and only. According to ABC, only 23 out of the initial 30 men will make it past night one. “After a whirlwind first evening that includes emotional moments and valuable time with mentors Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams, 23 lucky bachelors remain to toast the new bachelorette and join her on the romantic journey of a lifetime!” the site reads.
So, who are the men? There are a number of men in their mid-20s hoping to get down on one knee for the 30-year-old. Marty, Landon, Austin, and Josh are all 25 years old and the youngest of the bunch. Michael is 36 years old and the oldest of the crew.
As for their occupations, there’s also quite a range. From pro sports players to business owners to district attorneys, Katie will have her pick of what type of man she sees in her future. Jeff, 31, seems to have one of the most unique occupations as a “surgical skin salesman.” And Karl, 34, is a “motivational speaker.”
1 contestant arrives in his trailer home to the premiere
It looks like one contestant on The Bachelorette has a unique way of hoping to woo Thurston. While it’s typical for contestants on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to make grand entrances, fans haven’t seen many trailers on the set. And it looks like one contestant chose to bring his entire mobile home.
“They say home is where the heart is,” the contestant says while gesturing to his trailer during the premiere. “I drove my home here from Jersey.”
The contestant who brings his trailer is Jeff, the surgical skin salesman. According to his ABC bio, he’s from a huge, loving Italian family with whom he spends the majority of his time. “His family and professional life are in a great place, and now, he is hoping to find the only thing he is missing — love,” the description reads. “Jeff is energetic, outgoing, and loving to his core. He’s seeking an adventurous woman with a great sense of humor who won’t have trouble giving it back to him when she sees fit.”
So, what does Thurston think? “Please, don’t let this be my Fantasy Suite,” she said. Then, as Jeff walks inside, she’s seen behind him making a gesture as if she’s not interested in pursuing him.
What date does ‘The Bachelorette’ start?
So, when can fans tune into Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette? ABC notes the two-hour season premiere begins Monday, June 7, at 8 p.m. The following day, the episodes will be available via ABC on demand and on Hulu.
Bachelor Nation fans won’t have to wait long for another season of Bachelor in Paradise, either. The show returns Aug. 16, 2021, with a brand new cast, and fans can’t wait. ABC has yet to announce everyone who will hit the beach for Paradise, but fans continue to speculate regarding who they might say from Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams’ season and Matt James’ seasons.
