‘The Bachelorette’: Did Dale Moss Hesitate About Proposing To Clare Crawley?
Clare Crawley and Dale Moss got engaged on last night’s episode of The Bachelorette. Many of the show’s fans are criticizing the couple for moving so quickly. But Crawley and Moss have updated viewers on how they’re doing since they got engaged in Palm Springs and say they’re still over-the-moon and planning their future together.
But when host Chris Harrison told Moss that Crawley was waiting for him to propose, did he know what he was going to do right away? Read on to find out.
Dale Moss was sure about Clare Crawley after the first group date on ‘The Bachelorette’
Moss and Crawley appeared on Good Morning America the day after the episode aired. Moss spoke about feeling immediately connected with Crawley. He knew what he wanted after the first group date.
“After we had our first group date, in my mind and in my heart, everything was already written,” he said. “So, everything after the fact validated that and I knew in my heart it was going to be her and I at the end of the day.”
Additionally, Moss says he didn’t hesitate about proposing to Crawley. He was so set on ending up with her.
“[It was] never a question [if I’d propose],” he said. “I said from the beginning, ‘There was never a time I wouldn’t be there for you.’ And my heart was so full. I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Never a second thought. If you see in the episode, we’re so relaxed and we’re so calm together, and we knew at that moment that we were exactly where we were meant to be.”

During the GMA interview, Crawley spoke about how hard the criticism from fans has been on her. She’s says viewers don’t know “the full truth” about her and Moss’ love story.
“The things people say without knowing the full truth, without seeing how things really happened, genuinely happened, it just blows my mind,” she said. “In a world right now where there’s so much negativity, and hate, and hard things going on right now, love and this type of thing should not be one of those things. It kind of blows me away.”

After the Bachelorette episode aired, Moss and Crawley took to Instagram Live to provide their supporters (and haters) with an update.
They told those who tuned in that they were house-hunting–“We’ve got to secure the place,” said Moss.
After one viewer commented that they think the couple won’t last three months, Crawley said:
“I’d like to say pay up because we just had our three-month anniversary. The amount of hate, you guys, is insane. People are just crazy, but we wanted to come on here for the people who are amazing and the people who understand.”
