Following the new Bachelorette episode on Nov. 16, Nayte shared an Instagram post about Michelle and referenced their first one-on-one date. Then a few members from the Bachelor Nation fandom rushed to the comments and gushed over the possibility of an engagement in the final episode.

In The Bachelorette Season 18 Episode 5, Michelle and Nayte went on their first one-on-one date at Lake Minnetonka. The fifth-grade teacher introduced her contestant to her best friends, Allie and Tia.
Naturally, Michelle’s hometown pals grilled Nayte about his intentions with their friend. Then it seemed like Nayte passed the test. Allie even commented on how Michelle and Nayte looked at one another.
“I love the way you guys look at each other,” Allie said. “Oh my gosh, that look right there! I was like, ‘Oh, my heart!’”
She later told producers, “I was surprised because I honestly didn’t think I would like him. I’m really, really picky and protective. They just had the most amazing natural chemistry.”

But whatever happens when Michelle meets Nayte’s parents, many Bachelor Nation fans have high hopes for the couple.
On Nov. 17, Nayte posted a series of photos on Instagram featuring Michelle. Then in the caption, the contestant referenced Allie’s comments during their one-on-one date.
“I agree with Alli, I love the way Michelle and I look at each other too,” Nayte wrote.
