‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown Meets With a Matchmaker to Start Dating Again

 Hannah Brown didn’t exactly find the one on her season of  The Bachelorette. In fact, she didn’t end up with love at all. But after trying to date her runner up and third place contestant, she is finally ready to get back out there in the non-Bachelor dating world.

What happened on Hannah Brown’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’?

At the end of Brown’s season, she picked and got engaged to Jed Wyatt. Unfortunately, it turned out that Wyatt had had a girlfriend the entire time he was on the show. The two broke up before the “After the Final Rose” ceremony.

“I am not with Jed anymore,” Brown told the audience during the special. “The engagement is over, we are not together. That is not what I said yes to. When I said those things, the things that I said to him on my engagement date, I thought that was my day, and I feel like that was taken from me and how special that was, and it’s been really hard to gravel with that, but I know that what I got is not what I ever wanted for a life partner and love that is not built on a foundation of trust and honesty. I have grown so much, and I know I deserved more than that.”

After breaking up with Wyatt, she asked her runner-up Tyler Cameron out. Unfortunately, around that time, he began dating model Gigi Hadid. Brown then went on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor and confessed her feelings to him. Weber, however, decided to continue on as the Bachelor and the two did not rekindle their romance.

Brown had stopped dating after the show but recently joined some dating apps to try and get back out there.

“I’m just putting myself out there. I’m like, ‘This is the time to have some good old masked fun,” she said in a YouTube video. “There’s no pressure for anything because of the world that we live in right now. I mean, I’m not going to start just macking on you. I don’t know you. So, it just kind of gives that good boundary that I’m in full support of in this time in my life.” 

Over the course of the video, she went on a few dates but nothing panned out.

In a new YouTube video, Brown spoke with Nora Dekeyser, who is her life coach and a former matchmaker.

“I think I am truly ready to give and receive love again, but it definitely has been a journey,” she said.

Dekeyser tried to help Brown figure out what she wanted by asking her exactly what she was looking for in a partner and why past connections didn’t work.

“There’s an energy when you walk up to somebody,” she said. “It’s not even about how attractive they are.

“There has to be something about them that’s super confident and open,” she continued.

Brown did admit that she’s had trouble going for good guys in the past.

“I’ll drool over a d*uchebag in like a second,” she said.

But she is still confident that her guy is somewhere waiting for her.

“Like, I know he’s out there and I’m praying for you because bless your soul,” she said. “But I know you’ll have a good time sometimes if you’re with me. Other times, we have support.”
