‘The Bachelorette’: How Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark Plan To Spend New Year’s Eve Together

Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark met and fell in love on Season 16 of The Bachelorette. The season finale of Adams’ season of The Bachelorette ended with Clark proposing to Adams, and the two are now spending time meeting family and spending the holidays together.

While on the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation podcast, Adams and Clark revealed their plans for New Year’s Eve.

Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark are living together

After the season finale of The Bachelorette aired, Adams and Clark flew to New York City together. Clark currently lives in New York City while Adams has an apartment in California.

On Dec. 29, Adams posted an update about her relationship with Clark on her Instagram story. On her story, Adams told fans what it was like living with Clark.

“I have just been so excited to just live life and not going 100 miles per hour slash living a double life and being in secret. I’ve been so distracted with just being in the same house as Zac, which is so bizarre to me,” she said.

Adams continued, “For the longest time we would FaceTime for hours on end… With the time difference, our schedules were so off. As soon as it would hit 6 p.m. there, 9 p.m. here, we would be on the phone for three to four hours. Now that he’s here, he went to work today, I went to work today, it’s been crazy.”

The two revealed their New Year’s Eve plans

Adams hosts the podcast Click Bait with Bachelor Nation with Joe Amabile. On Dec. 31, Adams and Clark appeared on Click Bait with Bachelor Nation and were interviewed by Amabile and Natasha Parker.

On the podcast, Adams and Clark talked about how it has been spending the holidays together. For Christmas, Adams got Clark a wallet and new clothes.

“We helped him out in that department,” she said. “Got him some clothes and stuff.”

“I got her a little bag… that was our first little Christmas gift,” Clark said.

Adams and Clark also told Amabile and Parker details about their New Year’s Eve plans.

“I always feel like New Year’s is such a letdown,” Tayshia said on Click Bait. “I feel like it’s always better when you’re at home, with a fire, with your friends.”

She continued, “But we can’t do that with friends and stuff so we’ll probably just chill here… We’ll stay home, chill, play games.”

Zac Clark on staying sober on ‘The Bachelorette’

Clark is an addiction specialist and runs an addiction treatment center. While on The Bachelorette, he shared his story of sobriety, and he confirmed on Click Bait that he remained sober on the show.

“I’m so happy we’re talking about this. It is wild how much attention this gets,” Adams said when Clark was asked about his sobriety.

“Apple cider for the win!” Clark said. “No, there was no drinking on the show. Sober to me means no drugs, no alcohol, no nothing since August of 2011… And I gotta say, you know, everyone who worked on the show, anytime there was a toast, there was someone with an apple cider sparkling…”

“Or even ginger ale at times,” Adams added.
