The Bachelorette fans might be wondering whether Katie Thurston is engaged. She finished filming her season of the show recently. Of course, the previous season of The Bachelorette ended with not one — but two engagements. Thurston helmed the show this year in an unprecedented season. Thurston’s season ended a week ahead of the production schedule. A source told Us Weekly that this was due to Thurston’s effectiveness as a lead.
“Katie was in control and made sure the men she wanted were there and the men she wasn’t interested in, she sent packing,” the source said.
Additionally, the help of two former bachelorettes helping her along the process helped Thurston, per the outlet.
“Tayshia and Kaitlyn can relate to Katie’s journey in a lot of different ways, which you’ll see play out, so it was nice to have them there to help out with whatever situation came up,” the insider shared. “Tayshia had fun and loved doing it. She and Katilyn made a great team.”
Reality Steve predicts that Katie Thurston is engaged
Many viewers tune into The Bachelorette and other franchise shows for the beautiful engagement to wrap up the season. Reality Steve says yes, Thurston is engaged.
“I guess the biggest ‘spoiler’ I have for you is this: Katie is engaged,'” he wrote on his blog. “However, I don’t know to who.”
The blogger continued to share that he thinks the 3 of the Final 4 are: Blake Moynes, John Hersey, and Greg Grippo.
He continued: “I know you may ask, ‘How can you know she’s engaged but not know who to?’ Trust me, it’s possible. I’m just not gonna give up sources on that, so yeah, it’s possible to know one and not the other.”
“Katie definitely got engaged at the end of this,” Reality Steve concluded. “And unless she breaks up before the finale, which I guess anything can happen, but she’s happy and engaged as we speak, so I’d expect that to last.”
Fans on Reddit think Katie Thurston might have spoiled her season
Bachelor Nation fans are getting out their detective skills to find out the spoiler on their own. But Thurston herself might have given a huge clue on who she chose.
The lead posted an Instagram photo at Duke’s in La Jolla, San Diego, which is allegedly where Hersey works, per an unverified LinkedIn account with his name as seen on Reddit.
Thurston’s photo shows her in a white lacy top, white blazer, and sunglasses. She looked away on the sunny day and captioned the picture: “Something borrowed. Something blue.” This referenced a wedding.
People might be thinking this is too big of a giveaway who Thurston’s final pick is. But you never know — that is, until The Bachelorette‘s finale, which we have a long way until.
