Jenn Tran did not have an easy journey on The Bachelorette. For several weeks, she powered through bad dates and tried to set the show’s more problematic men straight. But after initial hope that Tran had found love with Devin Strader, it wasn’t meant to be.

The finale revealed that Strader essentially ghosted his fiancée following the series and broke up with her via phone call. Now, fans are calling for Tran to get a second season. Has it ever been done?

Jenn Tran’s fans think she needs a second season of ‘The Bachelorette’

Jenn Tran isn’t the first lead on The Bachelorette to leave the series brokenhearted. Bachelor Nation is filled with shattered promises, failed engagements, and broken hearts.

While leads and contestants insist they have gone on the dating competition to find love, it’s hardly a surefire way to find your perfect match. Over dozens of seasons, only a handful of couples have made it down the aisle, and only a few are still married today.

Despite viewers knowing the odds of a true love match forming on the show, they still think Tran should get a second chance with a new cast of contestants. Why do fans think Jenn Tran deserves a second chance on The Bachelorette? They believe the casting team did her especially dirty.

Tran indeed had only a handful of men who appeared to be on The Bachelorette for the right reasons. The contestants were not well-vetted; a few have been accused of being downright dangerous. She does deserve a chance to do it right with a well-vetted pool of contestants. ABC could probably be pursued to give it a shot. After all, a redemption storyline could certainly become ratings gold. Has it ever been done before, though?

Has Bachelor Nation ever brought back a lead?

Jenn Tran deserves a second chance at finding love on national TV, but has it ever happened before? So far, the production team behind the show has only ever given a lead a second chance once. That story didn’t have a happy ending, though.

Brad Womack appeared as the lead on The Bachelor twice. During season 11, Womack rejected all of his potential partners. The Austin business owner was initially considered pretty terribly by fans of the series, but he convinced the team to give him a second chance. He returned as the lead in season 15 after working on himself in therapy. While he left the series engaged to Emily Maynard, the duo ended things just a few months later.

Maynard later appeared on The Bachelorette but was unlucky in love yet again. In March 2024, Womack appeared on The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever with Chris Harrison and revealed he is still single.

Several other leads have appeared on Bachelor in Paradise after failed relationships from The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Still, Womack remains the only person to lead the series twice, but that might not be true for long.
