‘The Bachelorette’: Joe Coleman Says Michelle Young’s Season Includes a Moment That’s ‘Never Happened Before’
The Bachelorette Season 18 with Michelle Young is coming to an end soon, and contestant Joe Coleman just gave Bachelor Nation fans a teaser about the next few episodes. So what’s coming up as the finale approaches? According to Joe, The Bachelorette fans will get to experience something that’s “never happened before.” But the big moment doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with the cast member — here’s everything he teased.

Who are Joe Coleman and Michelle Young from ‘The Bachelorette’ 2021?
In case you need a refresher, Joe and Michelle knew each other before filming The Bachelorette Season 18. The two exchanged a couple of DMs a few years ago. However, the brief chat didn’t go anywhere because Joe ended up ghosting Michelle after two messages.
Nevertheless, Michelle and Joe hit it off on the ABC reality series. They bonded over their experiences, as they both grew up in Minnesota and share a great love for basketball. Joe and Michelle also deepened their connection on their one-on-one date in the new episode on Nov. 16. The bachelorette even shared how much she liked her contestant.
“I feel like you have two souls that have kind of been living side by side without even knowing it. And I feel like today, we got brought together,” Michelle said. “I am very excited to see what the future has in store for me and Minnesota Joe.”
Joe Coleman teases what’s next on Michelle Young’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’
The Bachelorette Season 18 is about halfway through. So many Bachelor Nation fans are itching to find out what happens next. Luckily, Joe dropped an intriguing teaser when speaking with co-host Tayshia Adams on the Nov. 17 episode of Bachelor Happy Hour.
On the podcast, Tayshia asked the cast member to tease what’s to come in the next couple of episodes. Then Joe revealed that “something that’s never happened before” will unfold during Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette.
That said, both Tayshia and Joe seemingly suggested that the upcoming storyline doesn’t happen to Joe.
“I don’t know if that’s with you or that’s with somebody else. But I’m very intrigued,” Tayshia said. Then Joe asked whether he was supposed to share a teaser about himself, and the co-host noted that it was fine.
“No,” she said. “I was there, and I’m interested. I’m excited.”

For now, Bachelor Nation fans will have to find out how the new storyline will play out on Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette. But it’s possible that Tayshia already teased the big moment. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the premiere episode, the co-host revealed Michelle’s ending hasn’t happened in some time.
“I don’t think we’ve seen an ending like what happens in a couple of seasons now,” Tayshia said.
But however Michelle’s journey ends on The Bachelorette, it seems Joe’s happy with his ending on the show. When speaking on Bachelor Happy Hour, Tayshia teased the contestant by saying he wouldn’t have to go through “all of this” if he had just “DM’d the girl back.” Then Joe laughed and responded, “It’s true. … But maybe that’s just how it was meant to be.”
