When people go on The Bachelorette, it’s no secret that they are looking for love. And while it’s great to watch the budding romances between the lead and all of her contestants, sometimes, the most compelling relationships on the show don’t even involve the lead. On Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, fans are starting to get obsessed with the relationship between two contestants.

Greg Grippo and Connor Brennan’s relationship on ‘The Bachelorette’

If you have been paying too much attention to the drama this season, then you might have missed the lovely bromance developing between frontrunner Greg Grippo and Connor Brennan. On Monday night’s episode, the camera panned briefly to a shot of Grippo and Brennan cuddling on the couch. Fans were immediately obsessed. Some fans even dug up photos of the two hanging out throughout the season.

“Can’t help but notice Greg and Connor B have chemistry and that is a twist I would happily welcome and am hoping for, to be honest #TheBachelorette,” The Betchelor Pod podcast tweeted.

As both men seem to have pretty strong connections with Thurston, we will probably get to see much more of their blooming bromance.

Skepticism about Greg Grippo

Though Thurston seems to really like Grippo, and he and Brennan are forming a sweet bond, some people don’t think the contestant is on the show for the right reasons.

“He is not on the show for love, let alone Katie, and his appearance on this show is solely to promote and kick-start his acting career,” a Reddit thread claimed. Another user posted a similar message but did not mention Grippo by name.

“My best friend dated a fan-favorite contestant on The Bachelorette very seriously for a year and a half and he was awful to her,” the user wrote, according to Distractify. “This sweet shy boy act is exactly that: an act. He really is actually an actor. I’ve personally witnessed him throw a fit and call her a terrible name for wearing a mini dress, so I can only imagine what happened behind closed doors.”

It doesn’t seem like Thurston has had any reservations about Grippo. She has only said good things about him in all of her interviews.

“What I loved about Greg is he was just true to himself, which was this very nervous, very uncomfortable guy,” Thurston told Us Weekly after The Bachelorette premiere. “He didn’t try and act cool or, like, be this guy that he’s not. He was just like, ‘This is me and I’m really freaking scared.’ And I thought it was really endearing, you know? And I could tell as long as he opened up, there was something more there. And so I thought, you know, giving him the first impression rose would give him that validation of, ‘I’m into you. Let’s figure this out.’”

Fans can tune into The Bachelorette on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET to see how Brennan and Grippo’s relationship grows.
