‘The Bachelorette’: Why Reality Steve Can’t Get Many Spoilers for Michelle Young’s Season
Though Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette is still in its early stages, fans are used to having much more information by this point in a season. Previously, Bachelor guru Reality Steve has had episode-by-episode spoilers for The Bachelorette, week after week. Sure, he has revealed Michelle’s final two but why doesn’t he have as many spoilers as he normally does?
Reality Steve lost a lot of Bachelor friendships

Steve Carbone, or Reality Steve, has been a part of the Bachelor world for years. Because he is arguably the biggest Bachelor blogger around, Steve has formed friendships with a lot of the cast. But in April, former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise cast member, Demi Burnett called Steve out for being inappropriate with her.
“I was always friendly to you and you took my friendliness as an excuse to trick me into listening to your sexual fantasies about me,” Demi wrote on Twitter. “It felt gross. I don’t think I deserved to have you make me feel this way.”
“I was afraid to say anything out of fear of retribution but then I thought of the many other future women to come on this show and I don’t think they deserve it either,” she continued.
These comments came after former Bachelor contestant Bekah Martinez brought up Steve’s past sexist comments about former Bachelor in Paradise star Jade Roper. Steve eventually apologized.
“Wanted to address my past writings that were brought to light again today on a podcast. There is/was no excuse for them. I’m embarrassed I thought that way, I’m embarrassed I wrote it, and ever since, I’ve done whatever I could to change that line of thinking,” he wrote.
His lack of relationships with members of Bachelor Nation following the incident could have had a major impact on his spoilers.
COVID-19 affected his spoilers for ‘The Bachelorette’
Before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Bachelor franchise did a lot of moving around. They would travel from city to city, both domestically and internationally. Because of this, there were a lot of opportunities for leaked information. But since the franchise started filming in the pandemic, everything has been a lot more insulated. With the cast and crew being quarantined, there are far fewer chances for information to leak to Steve.
What spoilers does Reality Steve have for Michelle’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’?
Steve has revealed who Michelle’s final two men are.
“Yesterday I gave you the spoiler that Michelle and Nayte (Olukoya) are engaged,” he wrote on his blog. “But of course we’d love to know who the final 2 guy was. And until yesterday, I only had pics of who it was, but couldn’t identify who it was. So speaking of random people that just happened to see Bachelor Nation filming and send me pics of it, thanks to ABC’s preview of Michelle’s season, I’ve now been able to lock down who that final 2 guy was – Brandon Jones.”
“You can clearly see that the bathing suits both are in (and the background of the hills in Mexico) are the exact same of them making out on the beach,” he wrote. “I was sent those first two pics on Sept 7th. Michelle’s final rose ceremony day was Sept. 9th. So that absolutely makes Brandon #2 and that was from their last date together.”
