In the Sept. 16 episode of Bachelor Nation’s Click Bait podcast, Adams teased details about The Bachelorette Season 18 cast and the rumors that the next bachelor is from Young’s season.
Adams confirmed the next bachelor after Matt James is from the upcoming season of The Bachelorette. Adams also hinted that she knows a “thing or two” about the new lead for The Bachelor Season 26. But whoever it may be, Adams suggested that Bachelor Nation will love all the new additions to the franchise.
“I might know a thing or two,” Adams said. “But I do have to say I have met all the men from Michelle’s season, and there are some amazing guys in her cast. I cannot wait for you guys to watch her season. It’s gonna be really good. There are some guys that you would’ve never expected to surprise you the way that you do.”

Now, The Bachelor Season 26 should start filming sometime in September. So naturally, many fans are wondering when the official announcement about the new lead will be made. But on the Click Bait podcast, Adams suggested the next bachelor won’t be confirmed until after The Bachelorette Season 18 premiere on Oct. 19.
“They always release the name before filming starts just to kinda hype it up and get everyone excited. I don’t think that’s gonna happen this year,” Adams said. “I think that’s actually what’s going to make it really exciting because Michelle’s season starts Oct. 19.”
She added, “It’s gonna be a bomb one. Night one is fire. The entrances are next level.”
Adams also confirmed that the next bachelor will appear on the first night, which means he won’t be a late arrival on The Bachelorette.
“The next bachelor definitely comes out of the limo on night one,” she said.

It’s likely the next star of The Bachelor 2022 won’t be announced until after filming starts. So it’s possible the new cast won’t even know who the bachelor will be until they meet him. But according to Adams, that’s a good thing.
“Typically, we watch the season. We kinda know who the cast is,” Adams said on Click Bait. “Then people kinda go onto The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, based on seeing them from the previous season. So these girls that are going into this Bachelor season have not seen this guy before.”
She continued, “It is all new to them. I love that. I think that’s going to be a really cool twist to this season, and you know what? These relationships might really blossom in front of our eyes because they have no idea who this person is.”
For now, Bachelor Nation fans will just have to watch how The Bachelorette Season 18 and The Bachelor Season 26 unfold. At this point, there’s a lot that’s unknown. But we’re bound to get answers soon. So get ready.
