‘The Bachelorette’: Tyler Cameron Responds to Hannah Brown’s Accusations, ‘I’ve Got Receipts Too’

Hannah Brown has been spilling all of the tea while promoting her new book, God Bless This Mess. In the book, the former reality star talked about her time on The Bachelorette and the turns her relationship with Tyler Cameron took after the show. Some of her comments didn’t exactly paint Cameron in the best light. Now, he has responded to some of the most concerning accusations in the book.

After Brown ended things with her final rose winner, Jed Wyatt, she tried to rekindle things with Cameron.

“I was really hoping that we would start dating again,” Brown recently told People. “I thought I’d made a mistake. I had feelings for Tyler. And I wanted to make things work.”

But as most fans know, that didn’t exactly work out. Now, Brown has revealed more details about what went down in her memoir.

“We had really intimate conversations about planning trips and things,” she writes. “I wanted it to work and to know that everything had happened for a reason. But maybe there was some miscommunication of what that meant.”

Just a few nights after she and Cameron spent the night together, photos of him with model Gigi Hadid began to surface.

“I was really caught off-guard,” Brown says. “I knew we were not together or openly dating, but just from the conversations we’d had, it was so shocking — and so public.

“I felt like I had to be strong and pretend it didn’t bother me when it did. I was already on the ground and this was another kick,” she continued. “I was deeply hurt. I said to Tyler, ‘I’d date Gigi Hadid too if I could, I get it.’ But it was not the way I wish it was handled.”

Tyler recently went on The Bellas Podcast and gave a little more insight into the situation.

“Pretty much, Boo just put it that, ‘Tyler Cameron rejected me,’ and the whole world goes, ‘Yeah, no s–t,'” Brie Bella said of Brown’s claims. “I think she thought she was going to shock the world and everyone was just like, ‘Oh, well, duh.'”

“But I’ve got a question: she put out a text message,” Nikki Bella added.

“I’ve got receipts, too,” Cameron said.

“You know that whole thing — first of all, you’re going to see the level of respect we have for each other,” he added. “The way I talked about her in my book showed nothing but love. We’ll see how she talks about me in her book.”

Cameron released, You Deserve Better: What Life Has Taught Me About Love, Relationships, and Becoming Your Best Self, in July.

But it seems there are no hard feelings between Cameron and Brown.

“I hope she’s happy, I hope she’s successful. You know, she’s writing a book — she’s got to sell books, she’s got to make headlines,” he said. “Sell them books!”

After things didn’t work out with Cameron or Peter Weber, Brown’s third runner-up, she tried dating casually for a while. Now, she is in a relationship with non-reality star Adam Woolard. The two have been together for nearly a year after meeting on a dating app.

“He knows himself and I think that’s the biggest thing,” Brown told People. “He’s very confident in what he deserves and what he wants to give someone else. He’s genuine and he’s truly one of the best humans I’ve ever met. And he is so cute!”
