There are many types of signs that a relationship is over and someone forgetting an anniversary could definitely be one of them. Kaitlyn Bristowe claimed on her podcast, Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe that Shawn Booth did just that.

“He actually forgot our anniversary last year,” revealed Bristowe. She claimed that Booth brought up their time on The Bachelorette when he forgot. “He was like, ‘To be fair, you had just dumped a guy five minutes before deciding I guess I’ll pick this guy,'” she continued. “Okay at the end of the day, you forgot our anniversary. You’re being a d*ck right now. Just own that.”

Since the two made it another year that doesn’t seem to be what broke the two up. A source has since come forward about another thing that came in between the two reality stars.

The couple has been asked when they were going to get married and more over the years. A source claimed that Bristowe did want to move forward with their relationship. “Kaitlyn wants to be married and have kids,” a source told People. “But it didn’t seem like they were on the same page.”

The couple never revealed having differences over this. But they did talk about why they were spending so much time apart.

“I’m in Canada because every single year I have made a promise to myself and my family that I will come up every August and enjoy downtime with the people that I love in a country that I love,” Bristowe said on Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe. She then continued, “Shawn did not come up with me because the guy just bought a gym. He bought a business. He has started something huge. He is the most dedicated person I’ve ever met.”

Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends and we will continue to support each other. Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.
