‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: 3 Characters Who Could Return in 2022?
The Bold and the Beautiful cast had plenty of shake-ups in 2021. Kimberlin Brown and Sean Kanan returned to reprise their characters Sheila Carter and Deacon Sharpe. Also, producers recast the role of Taylor Hayes with Krista Allen. 2022 will also be a big year for the show, especially if these three characters return.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Bridge Forrester could return to the cast
One character The Bold and the Beautiful fans want to see return is Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones). After Bridget moved to New York in 2012, she’s made several returns, mainly for family functions. But it might be time for her to make a permanent return to Los Angeles.
The show focuses on Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Deacon’s past affair. The couple’s trysts occurred when Deacon was married to Bridget and one of the show’s most shocking moments. Bridget was hurt over the betrayal from her mom and husband. With Brooke and Deacon possibly rekindling their relationship, this would be a perfect opportunity for Bridget to return and reopen old wounds.
Not only do fans want to see her back, but so does Kanan. In an interview with The TV Water Cooler, Kanan says Bridget’s return would be a turning point for his character. “I think it would be really interesting if Deacon apologized. Like sincerely apologized for what he did and for possibly be able to get some absolution and forgiveness,” the actor explained.
Zoe Buckingham comes back to shake things up for her sister
Last year, fans said goodbye to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) after Barnes left The Bold and the Beautiful cast. Before Zoe’s departure, she and her sister Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) repaired their strained relationship. The writers left the door open for a possible Zoe return, which could happen soon.
Paris has found herself in quite a dilemma as she contemplates whether to be with Zende Dominguez (Delon de Metz) or Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). While Zoe was on the show, she was engaged to Carter but had feelings for Zende. In the end, Zoe ended up with neither man.
With Paris having both men vying for her affections, this will not sit well with Zoe. This might be the motivation she needs to return and reignite her rivalry with Paris. Stick in the middle of the women’s battle will be their mother, Grace Buckingham, who tries to maintain the peace.
Mary Warwick returns to foil Sheila Carter’s plan
It’s been nearly 20 years since The Bold and the Beautiful fans saw Mary Warwick (Courtnee Draper). Sheila’s eldest daughter lives with her father, James Warwick (Ian Buchanan), and has little contact with her mother. These days Sheila’s focus is on her son Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), yet viewers wonder about her other children.
Fans have been calling for the show to bring in Sheila’s other kids to create drama. Given that Finn is blind to his mother’s dangerous past, Mary could give her brother a crash course in Sheila’s history. Mary being the person to come between Sheila and Finn would put Ms. Carter in a conundrum. Does Sheila let Mary’s actions slide? Or does Mary become an enemy on Sheila’s hit list?
