‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Ashley Jones Hints Bridget’s Sticking Around
The Bold and the Beautiful character Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) made a surprise return. On the March 31st episode, fans were stunned when Bridget called to tell Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) she was in town. Viewers were excited to see Bridget but wondered how long she’d be sticking around this time.

Bridget is an integral part of the Forrester family on The Bold and the Beautiful. Since 1992 fans have been following the drama revolving around Brooke and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) daughter. During her adult years, Bridget faced a lot of turmoil stemming from her personal life. While she’s a legacy character, Bridget eventually left town like many other Forrester relatives.
She’s made several returns in recent years, but most are one-time appearances. As for her recent comeback, viewers can expect to see more of Bridget. During a Q&A session on Twitter, Jones replied to a fan who asked if she was back on contract.
Jones’ response was, “Not a contract, but Bridget is not going anywhere ;) not yet, at least. She is back in LA.” Her tweet has fans excited about Bridget’s return and what’s next for the doctor.
Helping Steffy Forrester recover from the shooting
Bridget’s return comes at an exciting time on The Bold and the Beautiful. The Forresters are in the midst of a family crisis after the shootings of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). While Finn didn’t make it, Steffy remains in critical condition.
As Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) worry about their daughter, Bridge supports them. Steffy will undoubtedly survive, yet it will be a tough recovery for her. Speculation is Steffy will have amnesia, and Bridget will offer her assistance as the Forrester tries to jog Steffy’s memory.
Bridget Forrester finally faces Deacon Sharpe
Bridget’s time is currently spent helping Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, fans are anxious for her to run into her ex-husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). The two haven’t seen each other in years, and Bridget never responded to Deacon’s letters.
The couple’s relationship was filled with heartache, primarily for Bridget. Deacon’s affair with Brooke leads to the birth of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Despite efforts to keep their affair a secret, Bridget eventually discovers the truth. The fallout from the affair led to Bridget and Deacon’s divorce and altered her relationship with Brooke.
With Bridget in town, the show has an opportunity to revisit history. Bridget will have a lot to say to Deacon and Brooke, especially when she learns about their recent kiss. While Bridget may not want anything to do with Deacon, fans are speculating sparks may fly between the exes.
Although Deacon was interested in reuniting with Brooke, it may be Bridget he’s after now. His pursuit of Bridget will undoubtedly create drama with Brooke and Hope.
