‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Cassandra Creech Joins Cast as Paris’ Mother
The Bold and the Beautiful cast keeps growing with the addition of Cassandra Creech. Creech is set to make her debut as Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) mother on Jan. 10. ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ casts Cassandra Creech as Grace Buckingham
It’s a new year, and The Bold and the Beautiful changes its cast. Creech is the latest addition to the show and will be portraying Grace Buckingham. Grace is the mother of Paris, who surprises her daughter with a visit courtesy of Zende Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
Fans thought it’d be Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) who returns, but it’ll be Grace, the relative who comes to town. Grace will undoubtedly shake things up as viewers learn more about the Buckingham family. As for Creech, the actor is happy with her new role. In a statement to Soap Opera Digest, she discussed the audition process.
“I think it was an aligning of the stars because everything just fell into place. I was called in through normal casting, and I had a good chemistry read with Diamond and the rest is history. Here I am, and I’ve got to say, it is extraordinary being here,” the actor gushed.
Cassandra Creech is no stranger to daytime
Creech has racked up an impressive list of credits in her acting career. The actor had guest roles on shows like Third Watch, CSI: Miami, and Crossing Jordan. She’s also appeared on a few soap operas as well. She previously appeared on Days of Our Lives in 2010 and 2018 in the roles of Keisha and Diane.
But her most famous soap opera role came on As the World Turns. Creech portrayed Denise Maynard from 1998 to 2001. Denise comes to town searching for her daughter, whom she discovers Hope is raised by Holden and Lily Snyder (Jon Hensley and Martha Byrne). Although she decides Hope is better off with the Snyders, the couple gives the baby back to Denise. Aside from the baby storyline, Denise’s romances with Ben Harris (Peter Parros) and Andy Dixon (Scott DeFreitas) were also a huge focus of her life.
How long will she be on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’?
Creech will debut on The Bold and the Beautiful on Jan. 10. It’s unknown how long she stays, but there are plenty of reasons for Grace to stick around. Of course, there’s the Buckingham family dynamic. Grace and Paris will have a lot to discuss regarding Reese Buckingham’s (Wayne Brady) arrest and Paris’ relationship with her sister Zoe.
Also, Grace will offer advice as Paris is going through relationship drama. Zende brings in Grace to help him woo Paris, and mama Buckingham will be impressed by the young man’s gesture. However, her opinion may sway when she learns about Paris’ feelings for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). So which direction will Grace steer her daughter in?
