‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Comings and Goings: From ‘90210’ to Forrester Creations
On this week’s The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings, there’s a new assistant for Dr. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). This veteran of 90210 will be on the canvas later this week. Meanwhile, a fan favorite child actor will be returning to the canvas as the precocious little witness. And when Brooke goes to a session of Alcoholics Anonymous, there will be a familiar face leading the meeting.
On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Dr. Taylor Hayes gets a new assistant
Early in the new year, a new — but familiar — face popped up on The Bold and the Beautiful. The actor has been playing Dr. Taylor Hayes’s new assistant. Fans of 90210, however, immediately recognized the actor when they saw her.
That’s because Dr. Hayes’s new assistant is none other than 90210 alumnus Erika Medina. She appeared as Tara in the 2010 episode “Clark Raving Mad,” according to IMDb. That episode, too, featured an all-star cast that included The Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider, soap legend Rob Estes, and Fuller House star Lori Loughlin.
And, in a bit of a twist, the episode also featured one Greg Vaughan, who is currently burning up daytime TV as Father Eric Brady on Days of Our Lives.
Medina has been featured in popular television shows
Medina, however, is no stranger to television shows. The graduate of Katella High School in Los Angeles, CA, has also been featured in such shows as How I Met Your Mother, iCarly, and Hannah Montana, where she starred opposite Miley Cyrus.
She’s also been featured in several popular publications, including FHM India and Maxim.
According to SoapHub, Medina’s first episode of The Bold and the Beautiful was on January 3, 2022. She’ll be appearing on the show again on the January 5 episode. And while it’s not clear whether Medina has a contract with the show, what’s clear is that she, at the very least, will have a recurring role on the show.
Other ‘B&B’ comings and goings
Other The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings focus on upcoming episodes and continuing storylines. Alfonso Caballero, a rising star who recently gave an interview to Voyage LA Magazine about his career, will be playing a “meeting leader” on the January 7 episode of the show. Given that this is the episode where Brooke goes to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, it stands to reason that he’s the leader of the AlAnon meeting.
Additionally, Henry Joseph Samiri — the precious and precocious Douglas Forrester — will be returning to the canvas on Friday, January 7. Fans will recall that Douglas was the one who saw Grandmommy kissing Deacon Claus on New Year’s Eve. And there’s a good chance he just might spill the beans, however innocently, to all those around him.
This week’s The Bold and the Beautiful is bound to be packed with drama, that’s for sure!
