The Bold and the Beautiful is one of the longest-running and most beloved soap operas in American television history. The soap has run on CBS since 1987, which has resulted in a remarkable 33 consecutive seasons. Even during Hollywood’s production shutdown, due to coronavirus (COVID-19) precautions that caused the show to go on hiatus, the soap opera was still a mainstay of daytime programming.

One of the show’s most recent and prominent romantic entanglements is the competition between Hope Logan (Kim Matula/Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for the love of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
What is The Bold and the Beautiful about?
The Bold and the Beautiful is mainly focused on the Forrester family, a wealthy family that sits at the top of the glamorous Los Angeles fashion industry. The long-running soap opera also follows the lives, dramatics, and loves of many other characters that are not in the Forrester family. This includes the Logans, who are deeply connected to the Forresters.
The main reason for this connection is the character Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), who has been on the show since it’s 1987 premiere, along with members of the Forrester family. Brooke is still a major presence on the show, as is her daughter Hope.
Who is Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful?
Hope Logan was first introduced to the show in 2002 as a young child and was played by a series of children actors as she aged. In 2010, the character was rapidly aged, and actress Kim Matula was introduced as the character’s main actress. Maluta exited the soap opera in 2016, and the character was not seen again until 2018. In the character’s return, Maluta was replaced by actress Annika Noelle. In the show, Hope is the child of Brooke and one of Brooke’s many romantic partners Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). The couple was a short-lived relationship on the show, as Brooke was more focused on her own love triangle.

The change that they hope to see is for Hope to leave behind the messy drama between her, Steffy and Liam. In general, fans are tired of seeing love triangles on the show.
