The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and her family are prominent characters. Since 1987 the Logans have grown to include more members, including Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). The family remains front and center in many storylines, yet fans are getting tired of the constant Logan love.

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ fans think the writers show favoritisim toward Brooke Logan and her family

Brooke and the Logans remain an integral part of The Bold and the Beautiful. Whether it’s Brooke or her daughter Hope, viewers can expect at least one Logan to be the center of attention. While they’re two of the show’s biggest characters, their popularity has decreased over the years.

The main reason fans are turning against the characters is the show’s bias toward the Logans. Aside from the constant screentime, the writers always seem to have the Logans come out on top in any situation, often ruining other characters to make them look good.

On Twitter, fans pointed out the favoritism toward Brooke and the rest of the Logans. “The Forresters get thrown under the bus to prop Brooke Logan,” wrote one viewer. “That’s how weak sauce Brooke and her spawn is. They apparently can’t carry a story, so a bunch of characters have to be ruined to give them airtime,” another commenter chimed in.

Other characters ruined for the Logans

The Bold and the Beautiful fans pointed out that other characters have been ruined in favor of the Logans. Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is someone whose personality has been destroyed. Taylor and Brooke have been embroiled in a bitter feud for over three decades. While Taylor was a strong, independent woman, the writers have made her look weak in her rivalry with Brooke.

Aside from Taylor, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is a character who’s been ruined. Thomas was a good guy, but upon his return in 2019 became a villain because he was obsessed with Hope. He did unspeakable acts in his quest to win Hope, including keeping quiet about Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez) being alive. Thomas’ schemes were exposed, and in the process, he lost custody of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to Hope.

Despite the show’s attempts to redeem Thomas, it appears they’re having him become a bad guy again.

Is history repeating itself?

The Bold and the Beautiful again has the Logans come out on top. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walked out on Brooke after learning about her and Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) drunken kiss. He wasted little time in reuniting with Taylor, much to the delight of Thomas and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

However, the Tridge reunion may be cut short. During a confrontation with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), Thomas learns she switched Brooke’s champagne on New Year’s Eve. Now that he knows the truth, Thomas will have a tough dilemma. Does he tell his dad the truth and help reunite Bridge? Or does he keep quiet and ruin his reputation?

Whatever Thomas chooses, fans know that Brooke will end up winning in the end.
