As if Steffy’s life wasn’t already chaotic, she also has to deal with her crazy mother-in-law Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). But things may be more complicated with the addition of another bundle of joy.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ fans wonder if Steffy Forrester will become pregnant again
The biggest news surrounding The Bold and the Beautiful is Wood’s pregnancy. Recently, the actor announced she and her husband were expecting their third child. Fans immediately swarmed social media with congratulations.
However, it wasn’t long before speculation began on whether the writers will incorporate her pregnancy into the show. When an actor becomes pregnant, the show will also have the character in the family way. The Bold and the Beautiful fans are hoping this isn’t the case for Steffy.
In a Twitter thread, fans discussed their worry over another pregnancy for Steffy. “I truly hope #BradleyBell doesn’t include her pregnancy into the soap again. Steffy already has two children to look after; she doesn’t need a third child,” wrote one viewer.
“I wonder if it’ll be part of the storyline, or she will go out of town cause of all this Finn and Sheila drama,” one fan asked. Another commenter chimed in with, “If they write her pregnancy into the script, I wonder whose baby it will be this time?”
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s second pregnancy was incorporated into a storyline
Wood has already had one of her pregnancies incorporated into the show. When the actor announced her second pregnancy in October 2020, The Bold and the Beautiful decided to give Steffy another baby. Yet, once again, Steffy found herself in a who’s the daddy storyline.
Steffy had finally moved on from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) with Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Yet, one night Liam came to Steffy’s home seeking comfort due to his marital problems with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). One thing led to another, and the exes slept together. The situation became more complicated when Steffy became pregnant, and they told the truth to Hope and Finn.
A DNA test initially showed Liam was the dad. However, it’s later discovered Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) switched the results to break up Hope and Liam. After the truth is revealed, Steffy and Finn reunite and later welcome their son Hayes Finnegan (Piper Harriot).
How will the show explain Steffy Forrester’s absence?
Wood isn’t due until spring, so Steffy will continue to be seen onscreen. Yet, The Bold and the Beautiful fans are wondering how they’ll write Steffy off during Wood’s maternity leave. One theory is she’ll leave town.
Steffy and Finn are already stressed due to their disagreement over Sheila. With her marriage in trouble, Steffy could go away to clear her head. Another scenario is that Sheila will be responsible for Steffy’s disappearance. Sheila may kidnap Steffy and make it believe she left Finn, paving the way for him and Hope to be together.
As for whether The Bold and the Beautiful writes another pregnancy for Steffy remains to be seen. Given the current drama with Sheila, and Steffy working with Liam, it wouldn’t be surprising if baby number three pops up.
