‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Fans Want Carter With Katie, Not Paris
The Bold and the Beautiful character Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has a complicated love life. The attorney has faced plenty of heartache in the past, including his recent breakup with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). Fans are ready for Carter to find love, and it seems like he would with Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Yet, the writers seem to have dropped the couple’s budding romance.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ fans believe Carter Walton should be with Katie Logan
Last year, Carter and Quinn sizzled The Bold and the Beautiful screens with their affair. Although audiences criticized their storyline with Eric Forrester (John McCook), viewers had to admit Carter and Quinn had amazing chemistry. Yet, as with many couples, Carter and Quinn’s relationship ended when she decided to stay with Eric.
With Carter a single man, he was ready to get back into the dating game. It appeared his new love interest would be Katie. The two became friends as they discussed their recent heartaches, and viewers sensed their friendship turning into a romance. However, the writers have a different woman in mind for Carter, and Karter fans aren’t happy.
On Twitter, fans voiced their support for the show to pair Carter and Katie. “I had high hopes for Karter. It would’ve been awesome to see that blossom and Bill find out about it,” wrote one user. “Just when we thought that the writers would give us a good storyline with Carter and Katie. I suppose they’re going to make Katie end up back with Bill again and making her his door mat,” another fan replied.

With Carter and Katie’s romance apparently dropped, The Bold and the Beautiful quickly found Carter a new lady. The woman is none other than Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). Carter and Paris are friends, and their relationship has taken a drastic turn after she kissed him.
Fans are already opposing the pair’s potential romance. One reason is that Paris doesn’t know what she wants in a man. The singer is dating Zende Dominguez (Delon de Metz) but turned down his marriage proposal because she wasn’t ready for a commitment. Throughout Paris’ relationship with Zende, she developed a crush on Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and briefly flirted with roommate Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Paris’ jumping around from one man to the next turns fans away from her character. Now that she’s set her sights on Carter, viewers are concerned about the relationship.
What’s next for Carter Walton and Paris Buckingham?
The kiss undoubtedly stirred up feelings in Carter, who now finds himself in a tough situation. While Carter is falling for Paris, he doesn’t want to betray his friend Zende. Although Carter’s betrayed others in the name of love, he may not want to make the same mistake again.
As for Zende, he’s not giving up on Paris and brings in her mother, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech), to score points with his girlfriend. The gesture will surprise Paris, who’ll begin questioning if she made a rash decision to turn him down. One guy will get heartbroken with Paris once again torn between two men. Fans fear it may be Carter who’ll be on the receiving end.
