‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Fans Worry Over Possibility of Eric Being Finn’s Father
Last week The Bold and the Beautiful pulled out a shocking twist with the return of Shiela Carter (Kimberlin Brown) as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) birth mother. Sheila being Finn’s mother, is creating a lot of drama, which will escalate further. One mystery that’s left to be solved in this storyline is the identity of Finn’s biological father. Odds are Finn’s father is a The Bold and the Beautiful character, and fans are worried about Eric Forrester (John McCook) being the dad.
Fans worry ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ may make Eric Forrester Finn’s father
Sheila’s return has already disrupted newlyweds Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Although Steffy warned Finn to stay away from Sheila, the good doctor will ignore his wife’s advice. Finn wants to know more about his past, Shelia’s the one who can provide answers. One question that needs to be answered is who is his biological father.
Sheila’s had plenty of suitors during her time on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, fans believe one person could be Finn’s father, and that man is Eric. At one point, Eric and Sheila were married but didn’t have any children. Yet, given The Bold and the Beautiful’s tendency to rewrite history, they could make Sheila and Eric have a secret love child.
The possibility of Eric as Finn’s father is a hot-button topic in the soap opera community. In a Reddit thread, fans discussed the idea of Eric and Finn being father and son. Sheila and Eric eventually marry, but problems soon arise in their relationship. Sheila plots to become pregnant to save her marriage, but her plan fails when it’s revealed Eric had a vasectomy.
Sheila and Eric later divorce, and Sheila’s destructive path begins when she holds them at gunpoint and accusing them of wronging her. Sheila would continue to torture the Forrester family on and off for years. Although she wanted revenge against them, she showed nothing but love to her ex-husband, who she never got over.
Are Finn and Steffy Forrester related?
One of the reasons why fans are against Eric being Finn’s dad is because it means Finn and Steffy will be related. Well, technically, they won’t be blood-related since Steffy’s dad, Ridge, isn’t Eric’s biological son. Yet, that still hasn’t stopped fans from grossing out about the possible outcome of the newlyweds being related.
The mystery of Finn’s father will no doubt be unraveling soon. Could his dad be someone from The Bold and the Beautiful? Or could the man be someone from Sheila’s days on The Young and the Restless?
