The Bold and the Beautiful character Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) is a meddlesome mother. Since arriving in Los Angeles, she’s interfered in her daughter Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) love life. As Paris finds herself torn between two men, Grace is making it known which side she stands on. However, fans think Grace needs to mind her own business.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ fans believe Grace Buckingham is too meddlesome
Grace arrived on The Bold and the Beautiful courtesy of Paris’ ex-boyfriend Zende Dominguez (Delon de Metz). Zende hoped Grace’s visit would be a nice romantic gesture and get Paris to come back to him. However, Paris has made it clear she’s not reuniting with Zende, much to the disappointment of Grace.
Paris is in love with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and her mother tries to stop the relationship. However, fans are growing tired of her meddling behavior. On a Reddit thread, fans discussed how she needs to let Paris live her own life.
“Her mother seriously needs to back tf off. Deciding that Zende is the only man for her daughter is so controlling and manipulative. It’s not her decision to make,” one user wrote.
“And like how old is Paris? She has to take orders about her love life from her mother?” asked another viewer.
Grace Buckingham disapproves of Carter Walton
Grace has made it clear she doesn’t want Carter with her daughter. Given Carter’s past with her other daughter Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), it’s understandable why Grace would be worried. She warned Carter to stay away from Paris, or she’d tell the Forresters.
Despite Grace’s threat, Carter and Paris continue their affair. Last week, when she learned Paris was at Carter’s apartment, she barged over there and tried to take her daughter away. Yet, Paris stood her ground and told her mother she was in love with Carter. Of course, this is only going to further anger mama Buckingham.
How far will she go to break up Paris Buckingham and Carter Walton?
With Paris unable to listen to reason, Grace will have to resort to other measures to break up her daughter’s relationship. One theory is she could oust Paris and Carter’s affair, which would cause humiliation for the couple. However, her plan would cause heartache for Zende and lead to him dumping Paris; something Grace doesn’t want.
Speculation is that Grace may seduce Carter to get him away from Paris. She wants to prove that Carter isn’t a good man, and what better way than to make Paris believe he’s unfaithful. Seeing her mom with Carter in a compromising position would anger Paris and force her to dump Carter. While Grace may succeed in getting what she wants, her relationship with Paris will be destroyed.
