April started with a bang on The Bold and the Beautiful. On the April 1st episode, fans watched in horror as Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) accidentally shot her son Finn during a confrontation with Steffy. In the following days, viewers saw the fallout from the shooting. Finn was pronounced dead, Steffy was rushed to the hospital, and Sheila was living with the consequences of her actions.
The storyline has been distressful for fans, who’ll be in for more surprises in the coming weeks. In an interview with ET Canada, Wood talked about her current storyline and teased more shockers. “Oh my goodness. For the viewers…just buckle up because there’s going to be a lot of twists and turns right now.”
The twist is being kept under wraps, and even Wood doesn’t know how the storyline will play out. “Things are moving very, very quickly, so I really have no clue…but right now, we’re in the thick of it.”
Could the upcoming twist be that Finn’s alive?
For weeks, The Bold and the Beautiful cast and crew have been teasing an upsetting twist. Many fans believe Sheila killing Finn was the big twist; however, there may be more to it. Wood’s hints have sparked speculation on what the next shocker could be.
One theory that fans hope is true is that Finn’s alive. Although he was declared dead, many viewers don’t believe it. It’s possible Finn survived the shooting but remains hidden to trap Sheila into confessing her crime.
Another theory fans are holding onto is that the last few days have been a dream. Before the shooting, the show was dropping numerous dream and nightmare comments. Although the scenario seems unlikely, it’s possible the shooting is someone’s dream, and Finn and Steffy will be fine when they awaken.

While The Bold and the Beautiful fans hold out for hope Finn is alive, chances are he may be gone for good. The writers seem ready to reignite the love triangle with Steffy, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Liam rushed straight to the hospital when he learned Steffy had been shot.
Steffy’s currently in a coma, and speculation is when she wakes up, she’ll have no recollection of the shooting or her life with Finn. While Steffy’s amnesia is good for Sheila, it’s terrible news for Liam and Hope. Liam was the love of Steffy’s life, and she’ll believe they’re still a couple.
Steffy’s condition will leave Liam with a tough dilemma. He’s married to Hope and doesn’t want to leave her. Yet, he can’t desert Steffy during her time of need. As he tries to help Steffy jog her memory, his marriage to Hope will shatter.
