The storyline has fans on the edge of their seats as they wonder what will happen to Steffy. While Steffy’s going through drama, Wood is gearing up for a joyous occasion as she prepares to welcome her third child. Although she’s eight months pregnant, the actor isn’t slowing down.
In an interview with ET Canada, Wood discussed her work schedule. “I’m basically filming like right up until I give birth.” While Wood is set to go on maternity leave soon, she promises the story leading up to her departure will be “fun.”

When Wood announced her pregnancy in November 2021, The Bold and the Beautiful fans were curious what the writers would do. Wood’s second pregnancy was written into the show in December 2020. Steffy discovered she was pregnant with her second child, yet didn’t know if the father was Finn or Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
The show decided not to incorporate Wood’s pregnancy into the script this time around. Like many shows, the directors had to try to hide Wood’s growing belly. The actor wore loose-fitting clothes and held props in front of her stomach.
Although it had its challenges, the show did an excellent job of hiding Wood’s pregnancy. “The cameraman and the director, they’ve been so great about covering as much as they can.”

The Bold and the Beautiful fans will say goodbye to Steffy as Wood takes maternity leave. As for how Steffy will be written off, that’s unclear. Many viewers believe Steffy would be in a coma for a while, but after a few days, she woke up.
Fans have been speculating on how they believe Steffy will exit. One theory for her exit is that she leaves town with her kids to grieve Finn’s death. Another scenario is that Sheila kidnaps Steffy to conceal her secret. The latest fan theory says that Steffy becomes addicted to pain pills again and goes to rehab.
