‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Katherine Kelly Lang Wants RJ Forrester to Return
The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) may be getting a visit from another of her kids. These days fans only see Brooke with her daughter Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). However, she’s also a mom to three other children, including RJ Forrester (Anthony Turpel). RJ has been absent since 2018; however, he might be coming back soon.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Katherine Kelly Lang agrees with fans that RJ Forrester should return
RJ Forrester is the son of The Bold and the Beautiful super couple Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Before his June 2004 birth, Brooke believed Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) was RJ’s father. However, there was a mix-up with the DNA results, and Ridge was the father.
As with many soap opera children, RJ spends his time offscreen, away at boarding school. Viewers last saw the teen in February 2018, and since then, there’s been no mention of him. With the show bringing back many characters, fans feel it’s time RJ returns, and Lang agrees.
The actor responded to a fan’s request that the show bring back RJ on Twitter. Lang retweeted the fan’s tweet with the caption, “That would be nice to have RJ back.”
RJ Forrester’s current whereabouts
RJ made several returns to The Bold and the Beautiful, and each time he was older. When RJ returned in 2016, he was a teenager. After arriving home, the youngster’s first order of business is to reunite his divorced parents. Ridge made a play for Brooke with RJ’s encouragement, and the couple reunited.
When RJ wasn’t playing matchmaker for his parents, he found love with Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck), the younger sister of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). RJ’s parents disapproved of Coco, and their dislike of her grew when a car crash injured RJ.
Despite his parents’ disapproval, RJ continued dating Coco. However, following RJ’s departure in 2018, it’s believed the couple has split up. Currently, RJ is away in Paris attending school.
Possible storylines for his return
It’s unknown if The Bold and the Beautiful is planning to bring back RJ, but there will be plenty for him to do. With his parents’ marriage again on the rocks, RJ will try to help them patch up their differences. However, RJ will have opposition from half-sibling Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Matthew Atkinson) who want Ridge with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
As for RJ’s possible love interest, well, there are plenty of women to choose from. Although Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) seems like the obvious choice for the grown-up RJ. A Paris and RJ romance would be interesting and spruce up the younger crowd on the show.
