Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is a The Bold and the Beautiful villain fans love to hate. While Sheila has committed many horrible crimes over the decades, deep down, she’s a troubled soul who wants to be loved. She’s had many suitors, and viewers have their opinion on her perfect match. However, only one holds the honor of being her soulmate.

Whether she’s in Genoa City or Los Angeles, Sheila brings excitement wherever she goes. When she’s not scheming, The Bold and the Beautiful villain finds time for romance. Her marriages to Eric Forrester (John McCook) and James Warwick (Ian Buchanan) were her most famous pairings.
According to Brown, although Sheila loved Eric and James, they weren’t her soulmate. In an interview with The Locher Room, Brown discussed her character’s personal life and had a surprising answer regarding Sheila’s soulmate. Brown believes Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) is Sheila’s, perfect mate.
“Mike was Sheila’s sidekick. He would do anything for her. He was the one who loved her unconditionally,” Brown explained.
Sheila Carter’s past with Mike Guthrie
Shortly after arriving at The Bold and the Beautiful in 1992, Shelia met a new partner in crime. Mike was working as a security guard at Forrester Creations. After discovering she had switched Bridget Forrester’s (Ashley Jones) paternity test results, Mike learned how evil Sheila was. After Mike threatened to expose Sheila, she unleashed a vicious dog on him.
Despite harming him, Mike became an ally to Sheila. He’d help Sheila kidnap and hold James hostage after he threatened to reveal her past in Genoa City. Sheila and Mike’s partnership continued throughout the years, and Mike proved himself a worthy friend.
However, Mike double-crossed Sheila when he teamed up with her enemy Maggie Forrester (Barbara Crampton). Wanting to reunite with James, Maggie enlisted Mike’s help kidnapping Sheila. While held in captivity, Shelia tries to escape by seducing Mike; however, her plan backfires.
Eventually, Sheila escapes and is reunited with James. Meanwhile, Mike leaves town, and he hasn’t had any contact with Shelia since.
Will Sheila Carter and Mike Guthrie ever cross paths again?
Since Sheila’s return to The Bold and the Beautiful in August 2021, she’s found a new partner-in-crime. Sheila’s developed a friendship with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), who recently came back. The two outcasts are teaming up against The Forresters, who want to shut them out of their children’s lives.
So it seems Sheila doesn’t need Mike in her life. However, Brown says she’d love to have Sheila’s former sidekick back on the show. If Deacon backs out of their deal, Sheila could always call her former friend for assistance. Mike can also offer Deacon advice on what to expect if you double-cross Sheila.
