The Bold and the Beautiful character Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is someone fans love to hate. The notorious villain has been creating trouble for The Forresters since she arrived in 1992. Sheila’s pulled a lot of dangerous stunts over the decades, but Brown says one moment tops it.

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ star Kimberlin Brown reveals Sheila Carter’s craziest moment

Before arriving on The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila’s evil ways began on The Young and the Restless sister soap. She came to Los Angeles seeking a fresh start, but her devious side never left. Sheila’s crimes range from shooting Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) to kidnapping Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

The iconic villain’s committed many misdeeds, but Brown says one moment is her character’s craziest. In a Twitter video, Brown reveals her character had many crazy moments, but one, in particular, involved Dr. James Warwick (Ian Buchanan). “One that really stuck out to me was in the dungeon. That was crazy. When Sheila held James hostage.”

The storyline was memorable for Brown, who kept a prop from the scenes. “I still have the shackles. I kept them as a souvenir.”

Sheila Carter kidnapped James Warwick to protect her secrets

In 1995, Sheila’s world threatened to implode on The Bold and the Beautiful. After Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) arrived, Sheila panicked that her Genoa City rival would expose her past. Sheila’s concern increased when she learned Lauren had blabbed her secrets to James; she resorted to drastic measures.

With the help of her friend Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes), Sheila kidnaps James and holds him hostage in her basement. James became a prisoner in Sheila’s home as he was shackled to the walls. Although things looked gloomy for the doctor, he managed to escape.

Sheila later holds James, Lauren, and the Forrester family at gunpoint, threatening to kill them for the hurt they caused her. However, Sheila is apprehended and sent to a psychiatric hospital. Upon her release, Sheila becomes a patient of James, and during their sessions, she becomes attracted to him.

She and James Warwick later married

Despite being held captive by Sheila, James developed a friendship with her, which later turned romantic. A one-night stand resulted in the birth of the couple’s daughter Mary Warwick (Courtnee Draper). Although James was with Maggie Forrester (Barbara Crampton), they broke up, and he later married Sheila.

Sheila promised she could change; however, her jealousy over James and Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) friendship causes her to snap. Sheila is locked up after threatening to kill Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). However, she escapes prison, shoots Stephanie, and flees with Mary.

Years later, Sheila is caught when she returns to town with a teenage Mary, now going by Erica. Sheila “kills” Taylor while holding Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) at gunpoint. After Sheila is sent to prison, Mary goes to live with James.

Sheila and James’ last interaction came in 2017 when she blackmails her ex-husband into convincing Eric to let her live at the Forrester mansion. Since then, James hasn’t made any returns, but Sheila’s come back a few times to The Bold and the Beautiful. This time she’s stirring up trouble for the Forresters and her son Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
