‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Speculation: Will Brooke’s Interference Kill Donna’s Relationship with Eric?
There’s no betrayal like family betrayal. And nobody knows that better than The Bold and the Beautiful. The Logan sisters have been at each other’s throats for years, but now, Brooke and Donna Logan have teamed up so Donna can win back Eric’s love. But Brooke’s not helping her sister because they have a great relationship. In fact, if you believe the latest The Bold and the Beautiful speculation, Brooke’s only doing it because she hates Quinn. Now, the question becomes: will Brooke interfere so much in Donna’s relationship with Eric that she ends it before it even begins? Let’s take a look.
[Spoiler alert: Potential spoilers for upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful are up ahead.]
On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Quinn and Donna have been battling it out
Last week on The Bold and the Beautiful, we saw just how far Quinn was willing to go to save her marriage to Eric. Sure, they haven’t been having the best of times as of late. That’s because Eric really can’t “perform” in the bedroom with his much younger wife. But, as Eric also found out last week, his “ED” mysteriously disappears when he’s around Donna.
Love and lust are two different things, but no one at The Bold and the Beautiful seems to have gotten the memo.
Anyway, Donna takes Eric’s ability to perform as a sign that he really loves her, and she’s ready to fight for her man.
Eric is stuck in the middle
For his part, Eric is confused, too. He loves Quinn, there’s no doubt about that. But his ability to “perform” for Donna has awakened new feelings in him, too.
This week, we’re going to see a lot of back-and-forth between the current and ex Forresters. And things will only be exacerbated by a certain meddling sister-in-law. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, “Eric is pretty stubborn when it comes to Quinn and his defense of her. Eric will no doubt resist Brooke’s matchmaking efforts and argue that he’s going to stand by his wife. Even so, Brooke won’t give up hope when it comes to Eric and Donna’s new chapter.”
The thing is, never in the course of human history have meddling in-laws ever made a relationship work out well. And this is especially true if the in-laws’ last name is Logan.
Brooke has a history of betrayal
According to Soaps @ SheKnows, Brooke Logan has a history of betrayal. Anyone who has watched The Bold and the Beautiful for quite some time knows that. Will Brooke discard Donna when her endgame — that is, getting rid of Quinn — is met? Signs certainly point to “yes.”
“Brooke would probably be fine with either of her sisters taking Quinn’s place, but one would think that her first thought under the circumstances would be to get Donna on the phone (or call her into the office from her desk outside the door) and let her know what’s going on with her Eric so that she could be the one to be there for him?” they ask, rhetorically.
And they have a good reason to ask this question, because it’s highly likely that Brooke will issue a double-cross when her needs are met. Of course, this is all just speculation. We’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful to see what happens next.
