‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Speculation: Sheila Carter Threatens Thomas — And Pushes Ridge Too Far

Sheila Carter is worried her secret is coming out on The Bold and the Beautiful. Sure, she got what she wanted — that is, to make Brooke’s life absolutely miserable — but there’s a wrinkle in the plan. Thomas, Ridge’s son, is starting to catch on about the real reason his stepmother may have fallen off the proverbial wagon. And on this week’s The Bold and the Beautiful speculation, we question what happens when Sheila will, inevitably, threaten Thomas if he blabs. And if Sheila does, in fact, threaten Thomas, will that be a bridge too far with Ridge?

On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Thomas found out the truth

After what felt like forever, Sheila Carter finally admitted what the rest of us knew all along. Brooke wanted non-alcoholic champagne — and instead, she got the “real deal.” And as Sheila said it best on The Bold and the Beautiful, she did what had to be done. Besides, Taylor and Ridge are so happy together — and so are Thomas and Steffy, right?

Well, not really. In SoapHub‘s March 4 recap of the show, Thomas is more than a little bit perturbed by how wicked his sister’s mother-in-law really is. Not that he’s a fan of Brooke, but Sheila was more than a little bit evil to switch the labels.

“It all came together for Thomas. Brooke didn’t slip on her own. She deep dove into the bottle because she didn’t know she was already off the wagon. Thomas raged but Sheila stood her ground. She did what had to be done. Plus, just look how happy Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is now!” reports the outlet.

Sheila Carter will demand Thomas remain quiet

So now, we come to the latest The Bold and the Beautiful speculation. Soaps.com tells us that on March 8, Sheila Carter will demand that Thomas keep his trap shut. And not only will she demand that Thomas does not tell Steffy about “the secret” (really, she doesn’t need any problems with her daughter-in-law), but she demands that Thomas not tell Ridge what really happened.

Oh, what tangled webs we weave, indeed.

“Thanks to her, Brooke will be permanently out of the picture for Ridge, unless Thomas opens that door. She knows Thomas wants his parents together and warns, “Not a word of my involvement. Not a word to anyone,” reports the outlet.

But if Sheila threatens Thomas, what will Ridge do?

Let’s suppose that Thomas does not keep his mouth shut. He may be able to keep a secret from Ridge — but Steffy is another story. Let’s also suppose that Sheila finds out that Thomas blabbed. (And if there’s one thing fans know, it’s that Sheila Carter has her ways about finding out everything.) It will, therefore, be all but inevitable that Sheila goes ballistic and threatens Thomas within an inch of his life.

Inevitably, then, Ridge will find out about all this. Sure, Ridge is a mess in his private life — but one thing’s for certain: he loves his children. (This isn’t Dollar Bill we’re talking about here.) Things will definitely get ugly between Ridge and Sheila Carter at that point. And then, when the truth comes out, things will get even uglier.

Of course, this is all just speculation about The Bold and the Beautiful. We’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes to see what shakes out.
