‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Speculation: Taylor’s Confession About Ridge Sparks Steffy’s Scheming
If there’s one thing you can count on The Bold and the Beautiful for, it’s plotting and scheming. And this week’s speculation suggests that both the plotting and the scheming will be turned all the way up. That’s thanks to none other than Steffy, who will reportedly hear a confession from her mother that will send her into full scheming mode. Hey, you can’t keep a good bad girl down! Go get’em, Steffy!

On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Taylor’s return has sparked old feelings
Ever since Dr. Taylor Hayes returned to The Bold and the Beautiful, both old rivalries — and old feelings — have been re-ignited. Brooke hasn’t exactly been thrilled about Taylor’s return, especially given the history of the Brooke-Ridge-Taylor love triangle. And needless to say, Brooke has been going through it thanks to her re-ignited alcoholism and a little incident that resulted in Grandmommy kissing Deacon Claus.
But while Ridge, so far, hasn’t made any inappropriate moves toward his ex, Taylor has been getting those old feelings back. And despite her best efforts to fight them, it’s really been no use. She doesn’t want to spark old catfights and rivalries, but the heart wants what the heart wants.
So what’s a girl to do?
Taylor confesses all to Steffy
Since healthy parent-child boundaries don’t seem to exist on The Bold and the Beautiful, Soaps.com reports that Taylor will confess her feelings about Ridge to none other than her daughter Steffy. (Somebody get this woman some age-appropriate friends, please.)
Look for Taylor to make the confession on the Jan. 11 episode of the show. In the real world, most daughters would say “TMI, Mom,” or talk their mother out of such madness. (Really, how many times are you going to do the same thing, the same way, and expect different results?) But in this world, Steffy sees this as the perfect opportunity to get her parents back together.
(As a sidebar, Steffy might want to consider therapy to work through the issues stemming from her parents’ split. She’s a grown woman with a relationship of her own. And she certainly has enough to worry about when it comes to Sheila Carter that the last thing she needs to worry about is her mother and father and their on-again, off-again relationship.)

Additional The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers from Soaps.com reveal that Hope and Steffy will get into a huge blowout fight on Jan. 12. Hope will be desperate to take up for her mother, and points out how much she loves — and needs — Ridge. (Brooke has been fighting for Ridge since she was a teenager, you guys — you really think she’s going to give up now?)
This lends further proof to the belief that Steffy will stop at nothing to see her parents reunited. All she’s ever needed was an excuse — and between Brooke’s alcoholism and Sheila’s shenanigans, she’s finally got one.
Now, this is all just speculation. We’ll have to tune in to upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful to see if Steffy really does go through with her dastardly plot.
