‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Speculation: An Unexpected Alliance Makes Deacon Pause for the Cause
On The Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon and Hope have been bonding. That’s been a lovely thing, to be sure. After all, every father and daughter should have a relationship, whatever the nature of it. Unfortunately, though, this new “bonding” has been problematic for almost everyone involved, including Brooke and Ridge. Now, in this week’s speculation, we take a look at how a newfound alliance may actually make Deacon change his course of action.

On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke have a had a long-standing rivalry
The Ridge and Taylor relationship is part of history for The Bold and the Beautiful fans. In the early 1990s, Ridge (who was, at the time, played by Ronn Moss) and Taylor (who was, at the time, played by Hunter Tylo) were part of the rarified “super couple” pantheon. At the time, too, Brooke was seen as “interfering” with the couple’s relationship, and Ridge and Taylor were super-popular.
Now, of course, things are different. Brooke and Ridge have been together for quite some time, and are a beloved couple on the show. And while Steffy may like it if her parents are together (though, in fairness, the premise of the storyline makes her look a bit childish), the tables have turned. Now, Taylor looks like the “homewrecker” and Brooke looks like the loving wife.
With Taylor back in Los Angeles after a long sojourn in Africa, Ridge is all-too-happy to see her.
As Brooke bonds with Deacon, Ridge bonds with Taylor
Brooke has been having fantasies about Deacon ever since he got back into town. Seeing him bond with their daughter, Hope, has been making Brooke look at things through rose-colored glasses.
Needless to say, this has been causing a lot of problems between Ridge and Brooke. And on this week’s episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge will begin bonding with Taylor.
“With Ridge and Brooke on shaky ground, will Taylor’s return throw a wrench in their relationship?” asks SoapHub. “She wants them to be happy because she cares for Ridge, but Brooke is causing Ridge pain, and Taylor doesn’t want to see it. She tries to be a friend to Ridge rather than a love interest, but time will tell how long that distance between them lasts.”
Ridge and Taylor’s reunion may make Deacon fall back
The latest speculation from Celeb Dirty Laundry is that Ridge and Taylor’s newfound bonding will make Deacon fall back from his relationship with Brooke. It’s one thing to bond with your daughter — and Brooke and Deacon will always share Hope — and it’s another thing entirely to upset the whole family in your quest for bonding with your daughter. He’s not Sheila Carter, after all — Deacon seems to have some heart.
Of course, this is all just speculation. We’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful to find out for sure.
