Jacqueline MacInnes Wood isn’t just a Daytime Emmy-winning actor. She’s a devoted wife and mother, too. Her husband, Elan Ruspoli, is a talent agent for Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and on November 19, 2017, they got engaged. At the time, Wood shared photos of Ruspoli’s proposal on Instagram and called him her soulmate.
The pair eloped in July 2018. In March 2019, Wood gave birth to the couple’s first child, a boy they named Rise. They followed up that announcement with the announcement of their second child, a boy they named Lenix.
The couple then surprised soap opera fans all over the world back in November 2021 when they revealed they were expecting a third child.

The Bold and the Beautiful star broke the news to People about her pregnancy. “I am excited to announce that I am pregnant with my third child, due this spring. Elan and I dreamed of having a large family as we are both only children and are over the moon that our dreams are coming true,” she said, exclusively, to the outlet.
She then followed up that pregnancy announcement with a “big reveal” on The Talk.
Many fans were offering their congratulations to The Bold and the Beautiful star. Yet, a few of them also said that they “hoped she had a girl this time”! And, if you believe the latest rumors about Wood’s recent Instagram post, those fans just might get their wish.

On January 14, The Bold and the Beautiful star took to Instagram to post a photo of herself wearing a purple dress and surrounded by pink balloons. This post got hundreds of thousands of comments, including one from Tanner Novlan, who plays her on-screen husband Finn. “Oh hey, Steffy!” he wrote, with a winking emoji face.
This also led many fans to speculate that Wood was revealing the gender of her baby. And many fans believed that her new baby would be a little girl.
Now, this is completely just speculation. Perhaps Wood posted the photo because she liked the colors. And, ultimately, it’s up to The Bold and the Beautiful star to decide when — and if — she wants to reveal the gender of her baby.
