‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood announces the birth of her third baby
As Wood’s due date neared, The Bold and the Beautiful fans were on baby watch. Well, the wait is over; on May 24, Wood took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her third son. The new mom is in bed with sons Rise and Lenix and nursing her newborn. The caption reads, “And then there were 3, meet Brando Elion Ruspoli.”
Brando’s birth comes five days after Wood’s gender reveal. Wood promised fans she would share the baby’s gender and didn’t disappoint in the presentation. In the video, Wood shot an arrow at a balloon that burst open with blue confetti.
No further details about Brando’s birth have been revealed. But Wood’s fans and co-stars flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages. “Wow, congrats!! You look so relaxed and beautiful,” wrote Katherine Kelly Lang. “Wonderful!!! Brando’s here!! What a lucky boy!!” replied John McCook.
The actor admitted she and her husband want a big family
Brando’s arrival is a dream come true for Wood and Ruspoli. The couple’s first son, Rise, was born in March 2019, and Lenix came in February 2021. Nine months after Lenix’s birth, Wood stunned everyone by announcing she was pregnant with her third baby.
In an interview with People, Wood expressed her joy in expanding her family. “Elan and I dreamed of having a large family as we both are only children and are over the moon that our dreams are coming true.” Wood and Ruspoli now have a huge household with baby Brando’s arrival.

Her character Steffy Forrester’s been in a major storyline where she and her husband John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) were shot by Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
While Sheila’s behind bars, Steffy’s reeling from her husband’s death. Needing time for herself, Steffy decides to leave town with the kids. Viewers will be without Steffy for a while; however, her return promises to be exciting.
