Brooke has been trying, desperately, to keep her secret on The Bold and the Beautiful. But, thanks to her precocious little grandson Douglas, the truth is finally coming out. And when her longtime love, Ridge, becomes aware of the betrayal, he’ll run into Taylor’s arms for comfort. (Really, though, Brooke has nobody to blame but herself for this mess.)

On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Ridge runs to Taylor for comfort

The Jan. 26 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful will feature Douglas telling his dad, his auntie, and his step-grandfather a very interesting story, indeed. Soaps.com reveals that this will be the day that little Douglas finally confesses that he saw Grandmommy kissing Deacon Claus.

Now, while Brooke’s alcoholism initially drew Ridge closer (who doesn’t love a supportive mate?), this revelation is going to drive him further away. And this time, Brooke can’t blame anybody but herself for this mess.

It’s pretty evident that while Deacon loves Brooke (or, at least, claims to), Brooke doesn’t quite feel the same. Sure, she remembers the hot nights of passion — including the one that eventually led to Hope’s conception. But she’s been in love with Ridge since, well, The Bold and the Beautiful started, and he was just a gangly teenager working at the country club.

Brooke spirals out of control

So now, when Ridge runs into Taylor’s arms for comfort, Steffy rejoices with glee, but Brooke spirals out of control.

“Ridge will undoubtedly turn to his ex-wife, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), during his time of crisis. She has made it clear that she still has feelings for him and who better to prop back up his ego than a woman who adores him? And the fact that Brooke is very jealous of her? We’re sure that’s just a bonus,” reports SoapHub.

And that’s just the beginning of Brooke’s problems on The Bold and the Beautiful. She still has the ever-persistent problem of Sheila Carter, who has made friends with Taylor and Deacon for maximum impact. And fans already know that Sheila’s like a dog with a bone when it comes to taking down her enemies. Unfortunately for Brooke, she’s right at the top of that enemies’ list.

Sheila Carter sees an opportunity to pounce

Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that the Jan. 28 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful will feature Hope and Deacon having a little chat about what happened with her mom. Hope, in her carelessness, won’t notice that Sheila Carter is getting too close for comfort, which means that she’ll get all the details, and she’ll have yet another bit of information to use against Brooke.

Now, we all know that there’s no low to which Sheila won’t stoop. Even Taylor is getting a little bit nervous about Sheila’s obsession. But how far will things really go between these two mortal enemies?

We’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful to find out for sure.
