‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Weekly Recap: Christmas Miracles Abounded
Christmas miracles definitely abounded all over Los Angeles on this week’s The Bold and the Beautiful. Old enemies buried the hatchet — and not in each other’s backs. New alliances were formed. And families were bonded together, all in time for the holidays. This was definitely the week to believe in the magic of Christmas. But, don’t worry: Steffy and Sheila still hate each other. To their credit, though,

On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Brooke and Taylor came face-to-face
One of the greatest rivalries in soaps history came back. The Bold and the Beautiful episode on December 21 showed that Brooke and Taylor came face-to-face for the first time in many years. And, it seems, nothing has changed in the way they interact with each other.
“Brooke puts Taylor on the spot when they come face to face for the first time,” we reported. “Will the women manage to keep it civil, or will the situation devolve into a catfight? Taylor and Brooke consider their past and present, each attempting to figure out the other’s long-term agenda.”
So did Taylor and Sheila
It’s easy to understand why Steffy didn’t want Sheila around for Christmas. After all, she’s given a whole new meaning to the words “monster-in-law.” But, on the December 23rd episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, SoapHub reports that Sheila has a bit of a guardian angel in Taylor Hayes. After Steffy told Sheila — right to her face, no less — that she wasn’t welcome at Christmas dinner, Taylor stepped in to offer her daughter some advice.
“Taylor (Krista Allen) overheard the conversation and had some things to say,” reported the outlet. “Yes, Sheila was a monster and she understood Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wanting to keep her away, BUT, she is also Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) mother. Taylor firmly believed Finn deserves to know his mom just as much as Sheila deserves to know him. Invite her over, Steffy.”
Taylor also offered the proviso that they could observe Sheila — together, if need be — and see if she’d really changed. What’s the worst that could happen? (You know, this really isn’t something that anyone on The Bold and the Beautiful needs to be saying, because some of their storylines have been a downright mess.) So, Steffy extended the invitation, which led to Sheila wailing like a baby. And, as it turned out, Sheila did get to spend her first-ever Christmas with her son. That’s a pretty big deal, after all.
Everyone kept it together — at least for the holidays
So, this week’s The Bold and the Beautiful featured nothing but Christmas miracles all over Los Angeles. Crises were averted, families celebrated, and a good time was had by all.
Of course, we can fully expect everyone to tear each other’s hair out again next week. But for now, let’s enjoy the tidings of comfort and joy.
