‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Weekly Recap: The Mother and Child Reunion
The only sweet thing that happened on this week’s The Bold and the Beautiful involved Steffy and her mama, Taylor, reuniting. Everything else involved high drama, ridiculousness, and Sheila Carter. In other words, it was another messy week on the show, and the fans are here for it all. Let’s get right to it!
On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Steffy and Taylor reunited
What a beautiful reunion between mother and daughter on The Bold and the Beautiful this week! Taylor has been “away” for a good number of years (though we all know it’s about Hunter Tylo’s disputes with the network), but she’s finally back — and being played by none other than Krista Allen.
Soaps.com reports that the mother and child reunion happened on the Friday, Dec. 10 episode of the show. “Steffy flashes to remind Ridge he has his family supporting him,” reports the outlet. “She hears the door and assumes it’s Finn… but it’s her mom! Steffy is stunned to see Taylor, who says, “Hi sweetheart. I’m back.” They embrace. Steffy asks if Thomas knows she’s back, but Taylor explains she wanted to surprise them both. Steffy is sure she’s dying to see the kids, who are napping. Taylor will peek in on them. They hug again.”
We’re not crying. You’re crying. Of course, upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful will feature a lot of drama between Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke. But hey, that was one of the greatest rivalries in soaps history, so we’re not mad at it at all.
Oh yeah. They’re about to get into it.
Brooke and Ridge reached an impasse
Brooke and Ridge are going through it, people. They used to be one of the most beloved partnerships in The Bold and the Beautiful history. But ever since Deacon rode into the frame, things have been shaky, to say the least.
First, Deacon shook up Ridge’s relationship with Hope. (To be fair, Deacon is her father.) Now, Deacon is shaking up Ridge’s relationship with Brooke!
Things are certainly getting ugly, and we won’t be surprised if this all leads to Ridge and Deacon coming to blows in the future. But if anyone deserves it, it’s definitely Deacon. Of all people to team up with in Los Angeles, you team up with Sheila Carter, Deacon? Really?
Sheila Carter is still Sheila Carter
Deacon, for his part, is definitely going through it with his “girlfriend” Sheila. Of course, they’re just together for pretend-sies. But according to Soaps.com’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap, Sheila’s wearing out her welcome with poor Deacon.
“At Il Giardino, Paul tells Deacon everything has to be spotless before the inspector gets there… and he has a visitor,” reports the outlet. “Sheila walks in and muses, “Well, well, well. This is where you’re living. In a storage closet.” She smirks and chuckles as Deacon insists it’s just temporary until he gets back on his feet. Sheila brandishes the mop and says this is ridiculous — he should just come back to her hotel room.”
We can’t wait for next week’s The Bold and the Beautiful, where we’re certain that more drama will definitely pop off.
