‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Weekly Recap: Thanksgiving Day Crashers
This week on The Bold and the Beautiful, we only had three days of non-stop drama. Thanksgiving pre-empted Thursday’s episode, and Friday’s episode was a repeat of the Steffy and Finn wedding. Still, the show packed a big punch in those three days, with the upshot being that Deacon crashed Hope’s Thanksgiving dinner. Thankfully, it was only in his mind. His real Thanksgiving was spent with Sheila Carter, eating Chinese food and drinking mini-bottles of liquor. To be frank, we’re not sure which is a worse fate.

On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Deacon is desperate to reconnect with his daughter
From the minute Deacon got sprung out of the slammer, he’s been desperate to reconnect with his daughter, Hope. Unfortunately, reconnection is a hard time coming for him. And according to Soaps @ SheKnows, Ridge will put Deacon on notice in upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful. He’s letting Deacon know who runs things around here — and, spoiler alert, it’s not Deacon!
This will lead to trouble between Ridge and Hope down the line. But for now, Deacon is left reeling.
He had a whole fantasy about crashing her Thanksgiving dinner
The Bold and the Beautiful fans know that Deacon certainly has a lot to answer for. And on Wednesday’s episode, we saw how desperate he was to make up for all he’d done wrong. At one point during his lousy Thanksgiving dinner of Chinese food, he fell asleep. And in his dream, he crashed Hope’s Thanksgiving dinner.
But despite crashing his beloved daughter’s holiday, Deacon was welcomed with open arms. Everyone from Brooke and Ridge to Liam couldn’t wait for Deacon to play “Grandpa” and “Master of the House.” They even offered for him to cut the turkey! It was so real, he could almost taste it.
And then, he woke up and realized he was with Sheila
Unfortunately for Deacon, his fantasy about crashing Hope’s Thanksgiving dinner was nothing more than a fantasy. On Wednesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila jostled him awake and reminded him of his ultimate purpose. One can’t help but wonder if Deacon’s beginning to have second thoughts about his little partnership with Sheila.
As SoapHub points out, his motivations aren’t the same as Sheila Carter’s. “While Brooke gets her turkey stuffed and platters filled, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) stew over Chinese food and fortune cookies,” they report. “This is Deacon’s first holiday out of the slammer and while it feels good to be free, he can feel the missing pieces. All he wants is his family.”
Hope has been locking horns with her own family over Deacon for a while now. And in the coming weeks, the fights will become more frequent — and more severe. How far will things go between Deacon, his daughter, and her family? Keep watching The Bold and the Beautiful to find out.
