On ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ Ridge walks out after Brooke ‘chooses Deacon’
In the immortal words of Boogie Down Productions, “the bridge is over!” (Alright, it was said in a completely different context, but it still applies here.) Yes, The Bold and the Beautiful fans, the Bridge pairing — Brooke and Ridge — is over, at least for now.
The Feb. 15 episode of the show, according to Soaps.com, revealed that Ridge was absolutely heartbroken that his wife “chose Deacon” over him. Now, anyone who has watched the show for long enough knows what a messy declaration this is. Sure, Brooke shouldn’t have kissed Deacon — that was wrong and terrible. But has Ridge really been the husband of the year for all these years? No, he has not. Alas, if men have nothing else, they have the audacity, so here we are.
So, Ridge storms out, leaving Brooke alone to ugly-cry, and storms right into Taylor’s arms.
Ridge finds comfort in Taylor’s arms
Alas, Steffy wins again! All this time she’s spent scheming for her parents to get back together is finally paying off! It’s just like The Parent Trap!
Yes, folks, this is definitely a yikes situation, but Soaps.com‘s The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Ridge will find comfort in Taylor’s arms — and, it sounds like, possibly in Taylor’s bed! Look for the shenanigans to get started beginning with the Feb. 17 episode of the show.
And the mess will continue into the Feb. 18 episode of the show, when Ridge runs into Taylor’s arms for comfort. But will that also mean he’ll run into her bed? (It wouldn’t be the first time.)
But Brooke will fight for her man!
Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful will feature Brooke and Taylor fighting it out for Ridge all over again. Except this time around, Ridge’s kids — messy Steffy and messy Thomas — are standing in the way. Steffy is re-enacting her best version of The Parent Trap, and Thomas is barring Brooke from talking to Ridge! (How is this even allowed to go on? Whatever — this is good, soapy content right here.)
“Can you imagine Brooke’s face if she walks in on Ridge and Taylor naked under the sheets?” asks the outlet. “Furious and devastated Brooke would no doubt start to rethink the whole idea of never giving up on Ridge. This could serve as a real turning point to push Brooke in Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) direction instead.”
