‘The Bold and The Beautiful’: What to Expect from ‘Classic Clashes’ Week
The Bold and the Beautiful is still on hiatus due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which means that CBS is continuing to serve up vintage episodes of the popular soap. During the week of June 1, the theme is “classic clashes.” The week’s five episodes will revisit some of the Los Angeles-set show’s most memorable spats and skirmishes. Here’s what to expect.
Monday, June 1
The Bold and the Beautiful goes back to February 1992 in this episode, which sees the battle between long-time rivals Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) heat up. Sally is irate after Stephanie makes disparaging comments about her business in an interview with a trade paper. A confrontation at Stephanie’s home quickly turns comical, with Sally ending up in Stephanie’s pool.
Tuesday, June 2
The sinister Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) threatens to kill Stephanie after Stephanie tries to keep her away from Eric (John McCook), in this episode from June 1995. Ridge (Ronn Moss), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Eric, Dr. James Warwick (Ian Buchanan), and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) all attempt to talk the murderous Sheila down and keep things from turning deadly.
Wednesday, June 3
The decades-long rivalry between Taylor (Hunter Tylo) and Brooke intensifies as the two hurl accusations and past hurts — plus some wedding cake — at each other during Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) wedding reception. After their daughters Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope catch their mothers smeared with frosting, Taylor and Brooke must go back into the ceremony and face their families. This episode originally aired in 2018.
Thursday, June 4
In this August 1999 episode, Stephanie is enraged when she learns that Brooke is trying to seduce her youngest son Thorne (Winsor Harmon) at her family’s cabin in Big Bear. Stephanie — who thinks Brooke is destroying her family — shows up in the middle of a raging storm to confront the other woman. Brooke is frightened and tries to reason with Stephanie, but quickly realizes that she might be in serious danger. Meanwhile, an angry Kimberly (Ashley Cafagna) arrives at the Forrester Mansion to confront Brooke. Instead, she finds Rick (Jacob Young), who has feelings for the beautiful model.
Friday, June 5
In this highly-anticipated episode from August 2019, Douglas reveals to Liam that Phoebe is Beth. Liam races to save Hope from Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and tell her the truth. Liam and Thomas have an epic battle on the roof of Forrester Creations. Ultimately, Hope learns that her baby Beth is alive and that her family can be reunited. A heartbroken Flo (Katrina Bowden) attempts to convince Wyatt (Darin Brooks) not to leave her over her role in the baby Beth scandal. Meanwhile, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) assures Steffy that she is Phoebe’s mother and that she has nothing to worry about.
